Never liked Buckhorn sights. Plus if I use the original dovetail it's a ways down the barrel and the rossi 92 is top eject so i cant extend over the receiver. I've looked into skinner sights and they are too far down the barrel to get a good view. I've also plugged my safety and I'm not going to add a safety peep sight. I guess it's my preference and not sure why that matters. I'm looking to see if anyone here has added a tang sight to their rossi r92 45 colt and what size front sight they used. I'm guessing no one here has done it.

Think there is confusion here.   What I meant was go with the same height Lyman 17 as your existing front sight already on the gun       GW

  2. If your bullet is able to spin in the case but cannot push in, I believe you are crimping too much.  Readjust your die to just seat the bullet.. Should have some frition holding the bullet.  If so adjust your crimp down untill you have 0.002/ 0.003 compression on the top edge of the case.  Brass springs back after sizing slightly.  Lead does not.  It is possible to crimp enough the reduce the diameter of the bullet.   Even uncrimped neck tension should hold the bullet in place   Gook luck    GW

  3. Big Ed’s belts usually had red and blue stripes running the length of the belt. Was talking to him when ordering new belt. Asked about stripes. Told me a salesman sold him 100 yards of fire hose to experiment with.  Later he called back to order more.  When asked how much. He replied, I’ll take it all.  When the truck delivered a mile of fire hose looks like?   Great guy to do business and/ or talk to.  Miss him.    Gw

  4. Do you have a different brand of brass?  A friend got a new batch of brass that was thicker in the rim that gave him a similar problem.  Extractor maybe too tight to snap over.     GW
