I am going from Rugers in 44 special .
To Remingtons 1858 Cap & Ball Pistols .
And from a SxS to a 87 shotgun .
And from a 92 to a 1860 Henry .
Should be some sort of learning curve :-)

Hopefully the dont put Salt on the road there .
It eats chrome and its really hard to get off under the fenders.

BP or Smokeless .
And caliber .
I cast all all my own bullets .
So I all ready know what size the bullet is.
For Cowboy bullets .
Others I put .
Charge.
Powder.
Bullet.
And its a really hot load.
Rifle only.
Or Pistol only .

Got my self in trouble last year making a comment about Kalifornia.
So I better just leave this alone Myself :-)
We need to remember that our brothers and Sisters and the ?
Are stuck behind enemy lines in that Country.
So we need to say a Prayer for them .
Lord I pray for Kalifornia and its People to
Receive freedom from the Tyranny of their suppresional Government.

All my molds are two cavities.
It still dont take that long to cast once you get going .

I shoot two strong side's most of the time.
I always carried cross draw when hunting.
I have a few cross draw rigs and strong side rigs
just like to go back and forth .
Never know :-)

I have wondered about the bursa thunder....
Interesting your wife has one.
I might have to give it a try.
Im just trying to give a heads up on these NEW low priced rugers.
These are made for a last ditch problem and not afternoon plinking.
What I would like is to find a comfortable shooting .357.
Anybody?

I dont think any small 357 is going to be Comfortable lol.
But there are some nice small 357s.
Ruger SP101 & Ruger has a composite 357 also .
As we all know the smaller the gun .
The harder to control comfortably.
The big intent for them is a , Get away from me gun .
As for the Bersa Thunder .
It fits the hand much better and has 8 rounds.
It will still fit in a pocket as long as you dont were tight clouthing .
I like the Bersa to shoot much more then any of the small 380's
It's fit and feal is like a Walther PPK and at 1/2 the weight and cost.

The wife and I both was carring the Ruger LCP for years .
I love my Rugers but never really liked the LCP.
I switched to the S&W MP Bodygaurd .
Put Big dot night sights on it .
True double action second strike pocket pistol.
With 8 rounds .
The wife went to a Bersa thunder and loves it.
I still have the Ruger LCP's .
Now they are glove box guns.

+1One of the first things I always did when acquiring a new S&W was to polish the contact points and install a Wolff spring kit. They work well without making the hammer fall to light to be reliable

My 87 is a Coyote Cap with a Lassiter action job. The fastest I recorded on a timer was 6.19 from the table on 4 know knockdowns. I use it mostly with BP. My loads are useful. I'm not trying to impress anybody. You'll be glad you sent it to Lassiter.

The distance is so short in Coyboy shooting
I dont really think it will matter .
I load 7/8 oz shot and 2.5 dipper of BP and have never had one NOT go down.
But then again I have had NO shot and knocked them down with the wad !

You should not assume things .And I assume you don't know nothing ....I shoot doubles with hammers the newest about 90 years old the oldest made in 1884 all with black , cleared the saloon at WR when I started shooting ,,, .45 colt with a compressed charge of Goex 3F under a 270 gr. RNFP (2,3 grains less than your Shotshells)..Or my Open-Tops in .44 spl. using drop-tubed in compressed loads under 240 gr, RNFP ...My lightest loads used in this game in 12ga are 4.3 CCs of 3F Goex under 1 1/8 oz. of shot ...Compared to my loads yours I might mistake yours as smokeless !!!Jabez Cowboy
