  1. Beautiful Flinchlock . Free Bump
  2. I will take another one !
  3. I took some small rubber hose that fit the size of the nipples and cut them a little long . This way you can dry fire your cap guns and not damage the nipples or frame . Works great . So Saith The Rooster
  4. I will second that call if something don't work out Just Sayin. Rooster
  5. Thank you all for all the great info . I'm just looking to play with a couple of belly guns . I thought this would be about the right loading I was looking for . And it sounds about right . God bless . Rooster
  6. I have four of them. Two 7 1/4 and Two 5" They both are fun to shoot but I don't use them at all in competition . They are a lot of fun to shoot . And they sure are Beautiful to look at . Just Sayin. Rooster
  7. Hi Pards . I have been reloading for many years now . Not much I don't load . But I'm thinking about trying some 45 Special. Loading for some Pietta Remington Ace with Conversion Cylinder. I think this would be a nice size loading for this gun . Can this cartridge be loaded with 45 acp dies or do you need a special die to load the 45 special cartridge ? Any advice for loading this cartridge would be greatly appreciated. I load most everything with APP or Unique powder. I'm going to likely use 200gr RNFP Lee home cast lead bullets .
  8. Tom Horn was framed to get rid of him. Of all the things that he did do this was not one of them that he was punished and killed for. This was a very good movie IMHO . Rooster
  9. A modern day M1 Carbine. Good review. I would not mind having one . But at 900.00 I don't really need one . Nothing I can't already do with my Lever Action Pistol Caliber Guns . Rooster
  10. It looks like all is sold . But nothing is marked as sold . I will take 100 if they are still available. Rooster

  14. This is a the cheapest best way to start in my opinion. Lee Reloading Classic 4 Hole Turret Press Deluxe Kit 90304 https://www.ebay.com/itm/333561105053?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=wqqvNguUTum&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=EO4YYNjoR1O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  15. It would almost be impossible to buy loaded Ammo and shoot Cowboy Action Shooting in any manner. You really need to buy some used equipment or some Lee equipment. And start loading your own ammo . Once you get started . You will wonder why it took you so long to start doing it . Even if you don't have a lot of space you can load on a small enough scale to keep yourself Shooting. So Saith The Rooster .
  16. Yes ! Let's put some faces with names some of us may never meet in-person , But talk with on the wire . Thank you . Rooster Ron Wayne

  18. OK. Maybe a stupid question. But after buying the rifle and sending it in to Turnbull for a full treatment and waiting 18 months to get it back . Why sell it ? Please help me understand that ? Rooster
  19. Wow blast from the past . I do things different all the time . One time I will shoot with my 51's in cap & ball in a cross draw with my Henry 1860 and a single shot 12g. The next time I will use my Cimarron 1873's with a 73 Rifle and a SXS 12g . Then shoot some Blackhawks and a 92 with a 97 pump . I never know what I'm going to show up with till I load up my truck that morning.
  20. Way way way to many people don't mark Sold right at the top !
