  1. No, the minute you have a Back Up Plan, you admit that you don't know everything, and that there are things that are beyond your control. And that you personally know Mr. Murphy.
  2. The top pic is the original. It's an ad for Warn Auto Locking hubs from the early '70s.
  3. If the MSM didn't blow everything out of proportion, how would they fill the 24 hour news cycle? Besides, keeping the sheeple in fear keeps them dependant on SOMEBODY ELSE to take care of them.
  4. And in the 70s I rode a bicycle to school. Uphill both ways, or so it seemed in Winter. 2019 kids HAD to have Mom or Dad DRIVE them to school.
  5. Not sure. Gold is Command Color, and she WAS supposed to be about 4th in the Chain of Command. I think, just because that's what they did back then, they probably just handed her a gold uniform to wear.
  6. Yes and no. For about ten years or so before that it was Global Warming causing them. I'm pretty sure that in the 1970s it was the onset of the new Ice Age. Before THAT, nobody knows.
  7. Not really. Uhura sometimes wore a gold uniform. Scotty still wins.
  8. The dumb girl bit never appealed to me either. I've always preferred a strong woman.
  9. It was a fun show. The premise was a guy living with 2 girls, though he was not in a relationship with either one of them. The twist was that the old couple that owned to place wouldn't let him live with them except that they thought he was gay.
  10. T.,V. show "Three's Company". Chrissy was one of the characters. Played by Suzanne Summers, later of "Thigh Masters" fame. Also starred John Ritter and Joyce DeWitt.
  11. If he'd have just announced that he was running for Congress as a Democrat, he'd have been President by now.
  12. Thanks for that Forty. I'm glad you liked it. It's actually a gag from my book.
  13. Last year I decided that I would shoot my own turkey for Thanksgiving. Nobody else in Walmart was amused.
  14. There's still a chance. Maybe it's an electric RV.
  15. I'm right there with you. Drive what you want, I'll drive what I want. Just leave me alone about it.
  16. Trust me, we NEVER said it within earshot of any of them.
