  1. It's the lack of an opposable thumb.
  2. One problem; where is the $40,000,000,000,000, coming from?
  3. Well for starters, I doubt that very many of them have any principles TO stand on. Remember, they make their living pretending to be somebody they're not. There are exceptions; Tom Selleck, Kurt Russel, and Adam Baldwin, for instance.
  4. At the Cowboy shoots I've attended, I'd have to say that at them, I'm not shooting to KILL anybody, and they're not shooting to kill ME! And plenty of us HAVE been involved in war.
  5. Because Costner wanted it that way.
  6. I don't think it gets more lily white than that! But Flo could always be a cousin, half sister, or best friend from college. College room mates might be fun.
  7. I dress Cowboy every day. Unless I'm working, I always wear a hat, vest, long sleeve button shirt, gun and gunbelt. (Arizona, OPEN carry) The only "modern" part of my attire are my blue jeans, belt, (with Civil War Officer's buckle) and contemporary cowboy boots. I get complemented on my choices almost daily.
  8. Having never met Tupolo Flash or Evil Roy, I don't have anything in particular against them. I have, though, never understood why ER is looked at as the Face of Cowboy shooting. The only thing I will say, is that the show seemed to be more popular with Tequila. Maybe there's a hint in there somewhere.
  9. Yeah I saw that. Clicked on it. It showed the passwords that it had saved. STILL had to sign in. Oh, well. Every now and again I get the urge to try something new. Usually go back to the old. I think I'll just go back to Internet Explorer. Thanks again, guys.
  10. Okay. New question. How do I keep from having to log into EVERYTHING, including e-mule every time I get onto the net?
  11. As always the saloonatics to the rescue. Bottles, a round for my new friends!
  12. Having read good reviews of Firefox internet service here, and because my daughter has it and likes it, I had her install it on my yet again refurbished Dell. One thing (so far) I can't seem to find is the pop-up blocker. Does Firefox have one? Or do I need to add something else?
  13. Glad to see you back.
  14. We used to have a toast we'd give at official U.S.M.C. functions; "To our wives, lovers, and girlfriends. May they never meet!"
  15. Most of the remakes seem to lack whatever it was that made the original work. The one exception so far seems to be "Hawaii 5-0. I think that "The Man from UNCLE" might be good, IF the right people do it. And by "Right People" I mean people that understand why the original worked, and DON'T see any need to change what that was. P.S. I just remembered "Battlestar Galactica". That was good, until the last season.
  16. They showed this same thing on "Fox and Friends" a couple years ago. The guest then showed Steve Ducy how to smash the chip in his credit card so that it wouldn't work anymore.
  17. Yeah, but the urge don't cost anything.
  18. Cimarron's web site shows that the lightning is available in .32H&R.
  19. Think of it as a tease for one of his T.V. shows!
  20. I must respectfully disagree; Several years ago, I purchased a used, Cimarron marketed, ASM 1860 Richards pistol. At about my second shoot with it, the ejector rod retaining ring decided to make a run for it, and was never seen again. I posted a question here on the wire asking whether anybody knew where I could get replacements. The next day, I received an e-mule from a gunsmith at Cimarron. He sent me the replacement parts at NO CHARGE! Remember, this was a used, out of production gun. I have several other Cimarron guns, and fortunatly have not needed any service since, but when I did, they were there for me.
  21. I'll give you a definite tentative possible maybe on that, but don't hold me to it.
  22. A little off topic, but when William Shatner was filming "T.J. Hooker", there was a blooper of him running out of ammo in a gunfight, calling out "Gun!", and a prop guy popping out of a nearby dumpster to hand him one.
  23. It's not.
