There used to be a TV show, called Leverage. Five people - Parker, the thief, Elliot, the guy that beat people up, Sophie, the con artist, Hardison, the skinny black guy computer wiz, and Nate, the Mastermind. Nate comes up with the plans.
In one episode, what they were trying was not working so Hardison said something about, "Time to switch to plan B".
And Nate tells him that they are way past plan B - they are on plan F.
Hardison says, "Plan F?!? How many damn plans you got? Do you have a plan M?"
Nate replied, "Yes. In plan M, Hardison dies."
Three or four times during the rest of the run of the show Elliot asked if it was time to change to plan M.
Always liked that show. They did a sequel show to it, having Sophie replace Nate as the planner, and bringing in Noah Wyle as a reformed Corporate Lawyer, and most of the time having Hardison's female cousin replace him to round out the team. Only did 2 seasons though.

Not sure. Gold is Command Color, and she WAS supposed to be about 4th in the Chain of Command.
I think, just because that's what they did back then, they probably just handed her a gold uniform to wear.

It was a fun show. The premise was a guy living with 2 girls, though he was not in a relationship with either one of them. The twist was that the old couple that owned to place wouldn't let him live with them except that they thought he was gay.

In the late '70s / early '80s, Quaaludes were the drug of choice. Everybody wanted to score some ludes.
And yes, quite probably, he gave girls Quaaludes and then went to bed with them.
But how is that different from snorting a line of coke and then going to bed, or blowing a joint and then going to bed, or buying her four or five drinks at the singles bar and then taking her to bed?
My personal opinion is that if he had not been rich and famous nothing would have happened. The girls, who could very well have been trying for a out of court settlement, wouldn't have complained. There wouldn't have been a big Nationwide trial with all kinds of media coverage.
But, like I said - strictly my opinion.
If he'd have just announced that he was running for Congress as a Democrat, he'd have been President by now.

It took him about 3 times as long to make the trip, cost MORE than if the bus was diesel powered, and no end of headaches trying to charge the thing to do it.
EVs might work for some people, (yes, I'm talking to YOU Subdeacon Joe
), but I can't see owning one.

Don't forget "Hanoi" Jane Fonda. Okay, she didn't go, but she DID say that if you understood communism that you'd pray to be communist. Of course that was when she was making movies. When she made her fortune selling those workout tapes, she quit complaining about capitalism.
