Whiskey Business

I’ve lived in Atlanta for about twenty years. I was born and raised in southern Louisiana, beautiful place, still a bit wild but I like that. The climate gets harsh in summer what with the hurricanes and state bird (mosquito). We call them that because they’re so big, not like the wispy little ones in Georgia. I’m mostly of Irish decent, with a bit of Acadian.

I’m happily married to Bucky Buscadero. We celebrated our twenty sixth anniversary last year. Where has the time gone? We are fortunate to have two children, a son and daughter. My adult son thinks the cowboy thing is cool, but my daughter is another story. “Mom, DO NOT wear your six guns in front of my friends!” Teenagers. Raising a teenager is like trying to nail Jell-O to a tree. However, she is a joy, and so is her brother.

Bucky has been in CAS for several years and last summer he got me into it also. What a blast. Bang Clang! I’ve shot a variety of guns, but the SAAs just spoke to me. One of the best ways to spend a Saturday afternoon is sending lead down range.

I’ve always liked watching a good western on occasion, but I don’t watch much TV because real life is so much better.
