For the record, I ain't scared of croci-gaters and such.
I am, however, very respectful of animals that have shown a propensity to try to eat humans.
My ancestors didn't claw their way to the top of the food chain over 10's of thousands of years just so I could be an idiot and get eaten.
Hence, my stance that there's no such thing as overkill when dealing with carnivores the size of automobiles and a habit of eating humans.

Looks like it's time to fire the hedgehog off the aft quarter to me. Then, take a hard right and start rolling depth charges.
Might wanna warm up Ol' Painless on the rear deck, too, come to think of it.

Sounds like a typical August day in Kansas!
Or the Deep South.
Anybody that's ever been stationed at bases Benning or Polk during the summer can vouch for that.
Flint Westwood once told me that the hottest 2 places he'd ever been was Viet Nam and Ft Benning during the summer.

Bill,
Allow me to let you in on a secret.
Aussies really don't like Vegemite.
They heard it was a beer byproduct, locked in on the beer part and are too stubborn to admit that it's actually nasty and they were wrong.

I'm just imagining the size of the bass that would hit that worm.
I was thinking crappie and catfish, myself.

But how do they taste?
Not as gamey as Spotted Owl and less stringy than Condor.

The two guys on the right could have fit in well in the American West from what they are wearing- and those mustaches.
Throw a belt on the middle one (especially) holding a Colt in a slim jim and a cap pouch and he could pass for a town cop in the late 1860's or early 70's anywhere on the frontier.

It was kind of Mother Nature to paint the target area red.....

I think he's referring to the mnemonic associated with telling the difference between the Eastern Red Coral Snake and a species of King Snake.
"Red on yellow will kill a fellow. Red on black, the venom lack." is the way I was taught it.
Coral snakes are extremely poisonous while King Snakes are nonpoisonous and kill other snakes.

There are numerous college football stadiums in the US that have an official capacity of over 90,000 and 8 that are over 100,000 (4 of which are currently in the SEC with a 5th scheduled to join in a couple of years).
Quite a few colleges with such stadiums are in small towns that see their population double or triple on the day a home game is played. Auburn University has a stadium that seats over 90K- the population of the entire town is just over 80,000- for example. It would have topped 100K except the Powers That Be decided to put luxury boxes up instead of seats in the last end zone expansion.
