Wow! Regarding PWB's story - When my daughter was eight, we were camping in Death Valley a little before Christmas. Santa Claus left her an early Christmas present while we were there. It was a Swiss Army camping knife. She was thrilled but didn't know how Santa was able to find her way out there.

This Christmas, I received a misdelivered Christmas card 3 times! The address contained 4 of the 5 digits of my address but the street was nowhere near the same name as mine. It was the same city and zip code though. The first time, I just put it back in my mail box. The second time, I exaggerated the first letter of the recipients name thinking the PO saw it as the number one which would have matched the numerical part of my address. It was a J. The third time it came back, I just took it a few miles down the road to the correct address.

When my daughter, Laura, was young, I told her to react to some people by just smiling and that would drive them crazy. Years later when Laura was in high school, a girl told her that she (Laura) scares her! The girl then told Laura that she never knows what my daughter is thinking.

When Custer was a puppy, a friend came by with her 3 year old daughter. Custer, being a puppy, was all over the girl trying to play. To get away from Custer, the girl went into his crate and closed the door.
