And then she was stunned when he started peeling the shells off.

We're 76 miles from Galveston, straight down I-45 until you get to the Gulf.

We eat more than our share of shrimp, and I find this and the tamale story almost unbelievable!

I bet she's a hoot during crawfish season!

I was in Dallas in 2011. It was not funny.

Yeah, and there was a drought, too.

In The Woodlands, just north of Houston, I had $400 water bills from watering my trees all summer.

The green belt behind me didn't water the tall pine trees, and dozens were lost just behind my yard, along with thousands throughout The Woodlands, and tens-of-thousands in Houston.

The excavated soil on my street project turned into talcum powder and got into everything - especially my car.

I never did get it clean...

And June is close to breaking records in Texas again this year.

    Can't wait for August!

I'm SO glad I moved to Texas in '71.

Blue jeans are the official pants, and boots are the true "manly footwear".

I wear jeans for so long that they get all frayed and torn, which makes them fashionable again!

This is how we butter them and you can have them with just butter but most people use honey, jam or vegemite and the below packet is how they are bought.

    I would eat them!

Butter and strawberry jelly, for me!

I don't think I could find vegemite in Texas (at least I hope not!).

Well, you see, Doc, in my dream, I was little, and I went fishing. I didn't want to go, but I had to. I did everything they said to do, and I caught a fish. Then, it started chasing me. I couldn't get away from it. I ran around and around in circles, and it kept chasing me. I dropped the pole, and just barely got away. Is that why I do the things I do?

    Wow!

Sometimes the simplest point gets overlooked!

I have no issue with folks wearing costumes.

After all, I do historical reenacting, because I enjoy teaching people, including kids, about our history, including the historical use of guns.

I wonder if I could get equal time at a library to show off my black powder, historical, rifles and pistols?

I promise to dress historically and anatomically correctly!

    From the internet:

First heard in the original Die Hard in 1988, “Yippee-ki-yay, motherflicker,” is one of the many one-liners that have graced the action film, a body of work not known for its strong verbal tradition.
