  1. We have a 1999 Dodge 3500 with V10 engine. I think it coat $80 some years ago to get the plugs changed. Talking to the service manager, he said it was common for people to bring in trucks with V10 that the owners changed out 8 plugs and wanted to get back two changed. They were always shocked to find the charge was still $80 just to change the back two.

. Yup same thing with my V10 Ford! Climbed around under the hood scoping it out and drove directly to the dealer.
  2. This clinical, mathematical, astrological, astronautical stuff is ...... KRAP. Winter starts at FIRST SNOW. PERIOD. Any of those over educated know-it-all's think it ain't winter are welcome to stroll down to the local market in their Sandals, Shorts and T-Shirts.

    Coffinmaker

    Those would be Canadians.
  3. If you enjoy science fiction, then like me you'll enjoy some of the Star Wars movies. Probably not all.

Star Wars flicks are action movies. Not thinkers like 2001. ;)

But not everybody is a SyFy fan. I read Heinlein, Dick, Asimov, Clarke and the other masters of the genre as a young lad and enjoyed them immensely. Also westerns and non fiction. i look forward to seeing the newest one.

  4. You need to check on the reputation of the dojo. Look for reviews on line.

Now one thing is that martial arts for children is as much about building self confidence and discipline as it is the actual fighting. It takes many years to build a warrior.

Could be they take things very slow with kids.

Or could be they just take money. Do some investigating.

  5. Not necessarily our society. In all wars there are bodies that go unclaimed. Sometimes relatives can't be found. Sometimes there was very bad blood. Sometimes records are inaccurate. It's good that there are brothers in arms and caring civilians who will do the right thing.

  6. It seems to me that the op was based on two actors and their screen personas, not their personal achievements, foibles or personalities.

    I may be wrong.

But let's say you never saw, read, or heard a thing about either man. Only saw them acting on the screen. Just within the context of the roles they played, which would you choose?

Now as they were from different eras both in filmaking and in history, it is difficult to make such a choice. I would assume that you would pick Wayne if you grew up watching his movies, and Eastwood if you were a spaghetti western fan. Different strokes.
