  2. News Flash!!!!!

We now have an award up for grabs for the Top Classic that shoots an 1860 Henry Rifle the entire match!!

Let's face it, it don't get much more classic then the 1860 Henry rifle!  It takes a special Shooter to tackle all the stages with that heavy ole Rifle!  So grab them out of storage and bring them along for a great challenge in Classic Competition!

Entry form is filled out and in an envelope with the check that will go in the mail tomorrow (Tuesday).  :D   I qualify for Senior Classic Cowboy :P plus I will be shooting smokie stuff.

Will make my lodging reservations this week.  Looks like the Ike Museum is open but limited to online ticket purchased ahead of time so I will do that also.  Unfortunately their website shows the gift shop and his boyhood home are both still closed to the public.  Maybe that will change by May.

    Scout

Hopefully you get the opportunity to check out the museum, it is really a neat place to visit.

Your are talking for the main match, correct. Cap and ball can be shot in Classic if he wanted to shoot that category.

    Yes, that is correct sir!

is it common to not have frontiersman at the KS State championships? Just curious.  If I was signing up for a category today, It would probably be duelist as I haven't decided if I want to shoot my long guns in BP, but I don't see a need to put brass in my sixguns :D

Yes we will be offering Frontiersman, like all categories, we must have at least three shooting in that category.

I've worn large roweled spurs since the beginning of my CAS days. Never a problem with walking, stairs, running, whatever... just be mindful that they're there. I have 5 or so pair now and love spurs. Never needed heel chains.

At HoW several years back a feller on my posse had a pair of absolutely gorgeous spurs on. I cannot remember the maker. Several of us were more interested in his spurs than his guns. Lol
