Indoor CAS at Niles, Ohio! Saturday March 9, 2024 Howdy! Come join the paper punchin’ posse of pistoleers and sharpshooters known as the Lake Park Raiders over at the Western Reserve Fish and Gamer Association in Niles, Ohio! Tons of fun, merriment, and jollification at last year’s prices! Coffee and donuts! Five fun-filled stages featuring Old West excitement and action! Bring your healthy imagination and a sense of humor! It’s mandatory! Doors open at 9:00 am or before and the lead goes down range at 10:00 am after the Pledge of Allegiance and a brief safety meeting. Visitors and spectators are always welcome, but you must have adequate safety glasses or shooting glasses and adequate hearing protection – muffs or ear plugs. Bring all the cowboy guns: 2 six-shooters, a lever gun or long gun, and a side-by-side shotgun. Leave the shotgun ammo at home! 12 gauge and 20-gauge shotgun ammo will be provided by the club. If you would like to use .22 caliber ammo; it would be all right. The match is on Saturday March 9, 2024. Come join the posse and have some Saturday morning fun! We hope to see you there! Howdy Friends, Thank you for coming out to the Western Reserve Fish and Game Association in Niles, Ohio to join the Lake Park Raiders in another adventuresome cowboy action match. A good time was had by all! Willie Goodnews was today’s big winner - first place fair and square! Congratulations, Willie! Second place went to Goose and Yippy YiYo Ki Yay came in third. Join the Lake Park Raiders for their indoor Thursday Work Shirker Open Class CAS match on Thursday February 29, 2024. Five fun-filled stages of merriment and jollification! Sign-up and registration is at 9:00 am. Doors open earlier. Coffee and donuts in the morning! Tons of fun at last year’s prices! Tons of warmth and dry weather inside the building! Match starts at 10:00 am after the Pledge of Allegiance and a brief safety meeting! Leave the gun cart home unless you need it for something special! Bring all the cowboy guns: 2 six-guns, lever gun, and a side-by-side shotgun! Leave the shotgun ammunition home too; shot shells will be provided by the club! If you want to shoot .22 caliber; it would be all right! No jacketed .22 rounds allowed. They now sell jacketed .22 rounds. No kidding. That’s Thursday February 29, 2024. A good time was had by all! The “man from Pennsylvania” Johnny Rails, was our match winner! He finished with a score of 104.45! Congratulations, Johnny Rails! Lenny James finished a strong second after Johnny Rails and tall Lawless Lorin won third place. Congratulations to all our winners and contestants! There were no clean shooters today, but BoJak and Lenny James were almost clean! Ripley Rose was our Top Lady Shooter! Congratulations, Ripley Rose! Big thanks to Heartless Hannah and Rattlesnake Ruby for bringing in the donuts. The Lake Park Raiders will be shooting another indoor Cowboy Action match at the Western Reserve Fish and Game Club in Niles, Ohio on Saturday February 10, 2024. Come join the Lake Park Raiders for another fun day of indoor paper punching staying warm and dry! The targets don’t go CLANG! but the hardware still goes BANG! Remember, “targets is targets!” Doors open at 9:00 am and lead goes down range at 10:00 am after a brief safety meeting and the Pledge of Allegiance. Coffee and donuts in the morning. Monitory donations are greatly appreciated but not mandatory. Five stages of paper targets arranged in various exciting configurations! A vivid imagination is not mandatory but has proven to be helpful. Bring all the cowboy guns! Hardware: 2 six-shooters, a lever gun, and a side-by-side shotgun! Side-by-side shotguns are easiest to use. Leave the shotgun ammo at home! 20-gauge and 12-gauge shotgun ammo will be provided by the club. If you would like to use .22 caliber ammo; it would be all right. Visitors and spectators are always welcome, but you must have adequate eye protection (shooting glasses or safety glasses) and adequate hearing protection (muffs or ear plugs). Indoor CAS at Niles, Ohio! Thursday Work Shirker Open Class CAS match! January 25, 2024 Howdy, Friends! Thank you for coming out to Niles, Ohio to join the Lake Park Raiders as we ended the month of January with a bang. A good time was had by all! Sixgun Seamus won today’s match with a score of 126.54. That’s pretty fast! Congratulations, Seamus! Goose came in second with a score of 150.19 and Yippy Yiyo Ki-Yay was third at 170.00! Congratulations to all our winners and contestants! Cayenne Kay was our Top Lady Shooter. Unfortunately, there were no clean shooters, but Sixgun Seamus and Duelin’ Diehl came close and almost had a clean match! AwwShucks! Big thanks to Andrew for working tirelessly through the match to keep the posse supplied with his new prototype aluminum shotgun shells. Come join us indoors for 5 stages of merriment and jollification at last year’s prices! A good time might be inevitable and had by all parties present! Doors open at 9:00 am or sooner. Lead downrange at 10:00 am after a brief safety meeting and the Pledge of Allegiance. Coffee and donuts in the morning. Bring all the cowboy guns: lever gun, 2 six shooters, and a side-by-side shotgun! 12 gauge and 20-gauge shotgun shells will be provided by the club. Indoor CAS in Niles, Ohio! Thursday Work Shirker on December 28, 2023. Howdy Friends, Thanks to all who came out to the Western Reserve Fish and Game Club in Niles to participate in our Thursday Work Shirker CAS match. Work shirker Johnny Rails was the match winner with a score of 105.93! That’s pretty fast! Congratulations, Johnny Rails! Fast shootin’ Lefty Leadshot finished at 124.20 and good friend Goose finished third and was “almost clean” with a score of 132.66. Congratulations to all our winners and contestants! Slow Mo Dern was the only clean shooter with a .22 caliber arsenal but earned himself a MSV tarnishing his good fortune. Thank you for attending and thank you for making the match a success.
