  1. I'm interested in your sherrifs model and have a shotgun to trade. mbrooks_52806@yahoo.com

  2. The trench guns are getting really hard to find. The WWII re-enactors and collectors have snapped them up, plus guys in our sport...Keep a sharp eye on Gunbroker, GunsAmerica and Armslist. I found one toward the end of last year for $300.00...which is NOT the norm- they are usually $500 minimum.
  3. This will be in a Steven Segal movie by the years' end!
  4. I like the articles myself, as well as Tex and Dan's points of view.
  5. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why in the Hecky DURN would they not cast a real honest to goodness Native American as TONTO!!?? "Johnny Depp looks, the costume with the bird, makes him look more like a Voodo witch doctor, rather then a proud American indian warrior." Amen. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Oh, off topic...I see HollyWeird has raped my childhood memories again by making a mockery out of 21 Jump Street.
  6. Right. Except 'bump fire' uses the recoil motion to crash the trigger into your static finger to 'pull' the trigger. The Akins Accelerator used the same technology, albeit it had a spring in the stock, it still was a bump fire stock. -It too, was 'ATF' approved. UNTIL they changed their minds!!! Mr. Akins took his case all the way in the courts against the ATF and had numerous experts proving his stock was a bump fire mechanism. In the end, he lost everything and the stocks were deemed illegal. ...If they were even $150 I'd have one and have fun with it until the ATF bans them, but at $350, no way.
  7. ...and $350 is a HUGE gamble. Every time I see a video of this thing in action, I get all giggly. -I bet there is some jack-booted thug higher up that sees the same video, and instead of getting giggly, is going XXX!! ...it's a matter of time. The lib's won't let this one slide. pun intended.
  8. Got my belt, holsters and knife sheath in today, I couldn't be happier! Had them made by a guy named Jason Ross. I got a strong side right and a cross draw. He's making me a strong side left to match too, so I'll have both options. They are beautiful! Holster-1
  9. I got your message- don't know if my reply got to you?

  10. I'm ignorant....do tell.
  11. If you have a Tandy Leather nearby, or other craft store, get a leather trimmer -the one that looks like a T-square....you can cut a brim perfectly with it. To shape- a tea kettle or a pot of boiling water with a lid to direct the steam- 'un-bash' it, then re-shape to your desire. Once dried....it's set. This is ONLY for a full fur felt hat!! Wool felt will either shrink into a dunce cap or fall apart, or both with the steam!
  12. Ha! Yep- that's the overwhelming MAJORITY of guns we take off the thugs for two reasons- cheap, and all the pawnshops downtown sell them. The carbines seem to be a little better than the pistols, but not by much from the ones that I have actually held and shot. IF you're gonna get one, get two so when one is down and off to HP for replacement (as far as i know they don't waste time and money repairing them) you have one to carry. Yes, they have a lifetime warranty, and yes, some people get one that they never have trouble with, but to those in the latter camp, I question how much they're shot... If you need to sell blood to save up to buy even a well used Glock, do that instead of buying a HP. If you have to have a gun, right now, cheap...
  13. wait...you can get $2 bills at the bank?
  14. I laughed my butt of when the owner Dude got 'blowback' all over his face from the 'new' '66. What dumbass gunsmith wouldn't check headspace before shooting the thing? ...I can't stand looking at the wife with her walleye'd tits and horse teeth, and the daughter- seems like she's being pimped out for the show to me...
  15. Nay, I say nay...for each time I observe the circular splendor that dangles nixt my receiver and stock, I shall betaken of a euphoric sense unlike that of any ever known to man. priceless.
