Thank you, Ms. Shamrock,

I just liked the way you explained it so I used your wording.

The Comanchero was a regular factory rifle when received and is then slicked up by an outside gunsmith then sold by Taylor's as the Comanchero. Hope you got a good price.

I have one not for sale.
I have one converted to .38-55 which shoots way softer than my Sharps .45-70 which is heavier. I you can find a .38-55, which is good to 500 yards, it will save your shoulder as you age. All the matches I have been to no one had a 500 yard range.
Come to the Virginia State Match, Gunfight at the Double-C on Labor Day weekend, We Do.

Never heard of them but by what I can tell, they do not have grips for new Vaquero's. Hope yours are old model.

They were at the gun show here in Richmond Virginia a few weeks ago. They had 45 Colt and 38 Special Cowboy loads for sale.

Not sure why but we miss you Doc.

When you go to buy a new vehicle and the first thing you check is if your gun cart will fit.

Four of the five clubs I shoot at use similar designed stands. We all use 5/8 or 3/4 smooth round bar instead of rebar to cut down on ricochet.

I'll give you 900.00 for it, sight unseen.

I recognized his work from your photos and he also sent me holsters to try. Sent him a knife and had a sheath made to match the rig. He is also a top SKB smith.
-
Mr. Parker, The gentleman that sent you the holsters is top of the line. Mine are like the second set but I also had a matching cross draw made. Fit and feel is a personal thing to shooters. We can make suggestions and talk about our personal preferences all day long but you have to make that final decision. Not much help, just the truth.

Think I will listen to it again. Thank you Mr. Pettifogger.

The ones I have now are Oticon. My old set were Phonak's. Both makers have high end and low end models. I've been happy with both brands in the higher end bracket.

My momma always said, stay away from those Progressive Press People.

Marshall just had a RO1 class about 4 weeks ago. I took it as a refresher. Don't know how you missed the e-mails. The info went out through several clubs.

Most of the year I shoot FC gunfighter but in the winter I go back to shooting smokeless as a senior with a crossdraw holster. It takes me three to four matches before I stop touching my crossdraw with my left hand as I draw the pistol with my right hand. Around here, crossdraw's are quite prominent.

I too have learned a lot from reading the wire.
