Finally made it to the front row… Rest in Peace, Mr. Uecker.

I spent a few days in Vancouver back in 2012. It seemed like many had the means to party all the time. It’s a noisy, vibrant city full of very liberal minded people. I couldn’t wait to leave.

Our country is called “The United States of America” for a reason. This isn’t “The Untied States”. This isn’t the “The United if you agree with me States”. The United States is a melting pot, not a mixing pot. The differences of the people in this country are what our forefathers envisioned. If everyone agreed on everything all the time we wouldn’t have the dynamic country that we have today. I think the addition of others to create more states would be fantastic. It would be a healthy shot in the arm to the body of the United States.

It’s good to remember good friends and good times.

I was immediately hooked on this show. I turned 5 years old 13 days after it debuted.

I had a model 60 Pro. A “J” frame 5 shot .357 Magnum. It weighed 23 ounces and had the lock. I tried making the lock actuate firing the hardest hitting 158 grain .357 Magnum out of it. Several hundred of them. I did succeed in further messing up my wrists and making the barrel tighten throwing off the front sight but the lock never actuated itself. I sent this gun back to S&W 4 times to fix the barrel issue but that darn lock never moved. I dumped that thing after the 4th time it went back and returned. I will never buy another Performance Center gun. I currently have with the lock: 327 Night Guard 8 shot .357 Mag 63-5 8 shot .22LR 25-15 6.5” .45 Colt I currently have these without the lock: 442-1 .38 Spl 36-2 .38 Spl 10-7 C&E 4” .38 Spl 17-3 6” .22LR 19-4 6” .357 Mag I love all my Smith & Wessons

Could you imagine the Snowbird phenomena if Canada was included (and very much Welcome, IMHO) into the United States? I’ll bet some wouldn’t think this is ridiculous if this was brought up a year or so ago.

@Rye Miles #13621 while we’re on this subject, I am trading a Winchester 94 Carbine and a Mossberg 500 12ga. for a really nice S&W model 66 4” tomorrow. No lock either.

It’s only gone for those 3 “Classics” and a few J frames that haven’t had the lock for a while. I’m glad they’re doing this even though I have never had a problem with a lock activating itself. I have never deleted a lock because the deletion looks as silly as the lock itself.

You actually saw Condors? In all my travels, camping and hunting trips I never saw one Condor. I never met a Park or Forest Ranger that ever saw one. I must admit I never spent much time around Victorville.

There was a surplus store in PA when I was a kid that was selling German WW2 helmets. They were selling like hotcakes to bikers. The only thing I would use one for is target practice with my M1 Garand.
