  1. I would like some of these for practical jokes. Something strange. My wife put 2 stickers in the back window of her Suburban. You cannot see the decals from inside the car. Very strange. I have not looked up the reason why this is.
  2. Air gap it.
  3. I didn’t watch. No groaning from me. Moving on.
  4. Years ago, around ‘00 or ‘01 I made one PVC speedloader for my Marlin 1894. I left it on a loading table as I wasn’t used to having a speedloader. Just like Stump Water said, “extra gear to lug around”. Anyway we moved to the next stage and I was a spotter. About 20-25 minutes later I was relieved so I could shoot. I went back to the prior stage to retrieve my speedloader and it was gone. I asked around but no one seemed to know where it was. So I proceeded the old fashioned way. Later on, while I was driving home I realized someone may have tossed it in the trash not knowing what it was. I wasn’t too upset about it. I actually didn’t really like using it. In practice, I pinched my fingers a couple of times with it. No great loss.
  5. Thank you. I have a few pounds of frozen ground pork. I had no idea what I wanted to do with it until now. Mmmmmmm I know I have no Italian ancestry, but I think the DNA tests are wrong
  6. If movies and TV actually emulated reality , not reality TV, but real reality, shows and movies would be boring and long and there would be no mood enhancing music or noise playing in the background.
  7. Take a gander at these articles on how dangerous people in the know believe AI to be. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/heres-why-ai-may-be-extremely-dangerous-whether-its-conscious-or-not/ https://www.livescience.com/technology/artificial-intelligence/people-always-say-these-risks-are-science-fiction-but-they-re-not-godfather-of-ai-yoshua-bengio-on-the-risks-of-machine-intelligence-to-humanity https://www.imd.org/ibyimd/artificial-intelligence/ai-on-the-brink-how-close-are-we-to-losing-control/ These are just 3 examples of articles written about AI that are derived from conversations with knowledgeable people, not Chicken Littles. I am not big on government or higher education regulation, but AI should be reigned in NOW and reigned in Worldwide. Do you think the Chinese or any nefarious country that has AI will rein it in if the U.S. and other likeminded controlling nations said “reign in AI now”? I doubt it. We are living in an age where dark Sci Fi could become real. Stephan King meets Isaac Asimov meets Xi Jinping meets Donald Trump. Things could get ugly.
  8. Shop for a knee scooter now. Prices will be going up due to tariffs. The ones the medical companies rent just plain suck. Check with your insurance to see what they’ll cover. Search words “All terrain ortho knee scooter with pneumatic wheels” Things you should consider: - rear locking brakes - a little basket for carrying things - I liked pneumatic wheels. Smoother ride - knee pad cover - see link below https://a.co/d/fGyj7Lw I had 2 operations on my right foot. The knee scooter insurance loaned me (medical equipment rental) had hard wheels and only a front brake. On rough parking lot pavement I felt every jarring motion in my foot. It was obvious real quick I needed a better knee cushion. My knee was killing me in no time at all. I nearly face planted in a lot heading down hill when I jammed on the brake. The brake didn’t lock so getting on and off was tricky - an accident waiting to happen. The hard skinny wheels made it hard to navigate on padded carpet. There was no basket to hold a fanny pack, drinks, essentials, whatever. I hope your surgery goes wheel and you’re back on your feet in no time - pun intended.
  9. It’s just technology. It will grow. We will either get used to it or it will go away. There’s too much money to be made with it so I think it will stay. Money made by not having those pesky employees to deal with. I am not sure why people are so easily fooled into giving up their future livelihoods over technology. Self checkout is a good example.
  10. God bless and come back when you can.
  11. I was reading about the P210. I would like to put my hands on one and maybe even shoot one. They look like great pistols.
  12. And now we’ll hear from the lovely Lennon sisters… Of course I heard “Lemon sisters” Image from: https://www.cardcow.com/818917/lennon-sisters-featured-with-lawrence-welk-performers-groups/
  13. My Nanny “grandmother” loved Lawrence Welk and his music. At her house if his show was on there were no disruptions, or else! I recall my Nanny got tickets to see his band in 1974 in Pittsburgh, PA. My Aunt Ruth, probably the most self-centered and selfish person I have ever known was to drive my Nanny to Pittsburgh. Of course she showed up late. She was getting her nails done. She drove like a bat out of hell to get my Nanny to the show and blew the engine in her custom ‘57 Chevy. My Nanny missed the show. I don’t think I have ever seen her so mad. I doubt she ever forgave my aunt.
  14. “Johnny, what can you make out of this?” ”Well, I can make hat, or a broach or a flying pterodactyl “ Snatches paper away.
  15. The new digitally controlled ones really aren’t much different. Wayside safety equipment is made to last and “fail safe”. Some of those components inside that box are early 1900’s technology. The only things new (digital) tech is the receiver circuits that take raise and lower inputs from the Control Box and the flashing gate light / LED drivers. That box is one heavy sucker.
  16. I wonder if the pilot’s new handle was “Limbo Champ” after that?
  17. Excellent Movie!
  18. Where do they buy their steel, wood and polymers? These could be taxed if imported.
  19. When I was a kid I found her totally annoying. Years later I watched a bunch of episodes on tape and I found her very funny. I was 7. Go figure. Rest in Peace, Miss Buzzi
  20. If one already has several guns one may not want more until things settle down financially.
  21. Check out Monty Python’s “Life of Brian”. It’s hilarious!
  22. I had this same scenario when I ordered from another business. The response from @Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 is probably the correct one. That’s what happened to me. I actually expected a request to do a review on how satisfied I was to get my package a day early, but that didn’t happen.
