  1. I was at the gun show at Washington Pa. yesterday and not a whole lot to interest me.  I bought a pound of Unique powder for $50 because my local stores have not had any for ever.  If you are in driving distance and like old guns go to this show nest month. https://ohiocivilwarshow.com/wp/  it is like a history lesson on antique weapons and also for sale.  Free parking and low entrance fee.  I have been going for the last few years and always see guns I have only seen in magazines.  Well worth the trip and an enjoyable day.  Many building full of guns and paraphernalia and sometimes there is a cannon for sale!

A short video of what is there.  https://ohiocivilwarshow.com/wp/portfolio-view/video-format/

Great shoot as always. I learned a valuable lesson. If you forget and don't take any shotshells to the line and try to shoot, it has a very negative effect on your score.

Didn't you go POW,POW reload POW,POW to receive the complimentary sympathy you deserved?

Maybe you could wear an electric Indian blanket?  I can dig up an extension cord or generator!

    See you Sat. ^_^

  4. Let me get this straight, while everybody is working hard getting the range set up.

Your job is to walk around and take pictures?  Rough job if you can get it!

Oh I get it you are getting your trigger finger in shape!

Will miss giving you a whopping at Tusco :)

You  and Kay have fun this week.

  5. Red was one of the "Good guys" you read about and was a pleasure to be around.   Always looked forward to shooting with him and visiting afterwards.

I admit I am not a very religious man,  but I hope God looks down and smiles upon him and blesses him.  He deserves it.   Good luck Red.

  7. Ah Shootin Shells,  my neighbor and I got guns for Christmas.  Found out you could blast Christmas ornaments to pieces  with them.  Never got caught at either house.  We made sure we did not shoot enough that we would get caught.  Boy was that long ago!

I have put rounds through the washer. Wondered the same thing if they would go off. They all fired.

Yea, but I was told you do not use powder when reloading just magnum primers!

  12. Rank point are like complicated rules and regulations at the work place.  The more people disagree with them the more they get ridiculed. And by association the people

who implemented them.  Right or wrong it is bad for moral and respect of the workforce towards management.

  13. Anytime a scoring system such as rank time has to be explained in detail over and over again and still most shooters don't understand it it tells me that it is a flawed system.

And I will never accept it over total time which needs little explanation and everybody understands the results.   I think rank time is an answer looking for a problem that doesn't

    exist.

  14. Thanks for all the kind words. I came home from the hospital last night. I had a mild attack Tuesday. Planning on operating Fri. if infection in lung is gone.

I feel good and have no discompfort. Only drawback so far is missing a chance to giving a royal beating to my friend Seamus

Thanks for thinking of me in my time of distress. Charlie

  15. That'll get him down to a minute!!! :P:P

He may shoot a little faster but a new knee will not help remember the stage instructions that he wrote :P

But at least now with a good knee he can kick himself in the ass :)

  16. The reason I asked that on another forum I am a member of when they updated the default was small font size in posts. I questioned it and the

moderator changed it for me and several other members to a larger size. This forum must not have that option.

  17. I just wish all the text on the forum was the same instead of some light and some dark. I still think the font on all replies is too small.

Here is an example from another forum "I would appreciate any help"
