  1. I'm going to work on this one, I'm sure my old friend Dead Eye Dick will be there. What is a pickle shoot ? Hope to see you. Rob
  2. Lumpy questioned NRV's, I too wonder what that is.
  3. Or you could buy a Marlin already chambered in 410, they did make them, if you could find one.
  4. Outlaw Gambler - outlawgambler@gmail.com I'm sure can help you with 97 parts. Good Man to do business with.
  5. I too did it this way,the Roger Rapid way. If you look at the ends ot the original springs they have a sharp tapper at the end, this allowing the hammer to drop close to the firing pin, no need for brass rings. Be sure to get the scratches out.
  6. I'm thinking down south of northen CA. how about over there.
  7. Hey Morgun, I think you and Doxie should take your Chirtmas outfit, you would be the hit of EOT. Good luck down there. Rob
  8. I receive Emails from this dealer, OUTDOORLIMITED.COM they say they have Fed. SP primers $79.99 a 1000, other primers too. I have not dealt with them as I need no primers now. Just thought I would put it out there if someone is looking. Rob
  9. What Augustus said, put some Flitz on the moving part that touch, open and close, it helps a lot. Mine too falls open.
  10. I like my JM Marlins, my match gun is a Cowboy Comp. 357 tuned up, love it, others for long range and hunting. I bought a Remlin in 45, 1 of 1500 pretty gun. it works OK, I don't use it that much, it has a REP on the other side of the barrel about in the same place as the JM is on the barrel.
  11. Been there done that, Mod 11 Rem. and 99 Savage, live and learn.
  12. Sorry Jim, I thought I'd remembered on the SASS site a year or so ago you were retiring to do the things you like to do and spend more time with family and friend. Rob
  13. I could be wrong, but I thought Jim AKA Long Hunter retired from doing action work. He still sells parts.
