Cooleemee Edd, SASS No. 68719

I am once again the father of young children. That means "retirement" is no longer a viable option. So "I owe, I owe, its off to work I go" until approximately the age of 73, when the youngest boy graduates from high school. Until then, I must remain a working man.

Our eldest boy came home for over a year, leaving just before Christmas 2009. He is out on his own...with the exception that we are bankrolling him until he finds permanent work...the "Boomarang Boy!"

Unfortunately, I haven't had much time for Cowboy Action Shooting recently. Still, I shoot once a week at the local Wildlife Club range. I'm getting into large-bore rifle target-shooting and am handloading for .303 and more recently for .308 Winchester. My rifles are British Enfield (Mk 4 #1 of course!) and Remington 770 PSS. The Remmy is a couple of steps more serious than the Enfield. My challenge is to see how good I can get with hand-cast lead bullets with gas-checks, as opposed to the standard copper-jacketed spitzer boat-tails that are more expensive than complete cartridges used to be in the lost, "good-old days."
