  2. you load up your black powder loads for your late morning night shoot?
  3. I don't think it's up on his website yet, you'll have to either call or email them.
  4. Lunch time night shoot?
  5. Slippery Dick of Slippery Bullets, just literally started selling 44.40 Big Loobs! I think one or two people just got his first bags this past weekend at Buzzard Boil in CT! $70 for a bag of 500 plus shipping. Bag, as in BAG. No trays at this time. SPG loob. Adjustable size of 427 to 430 I was told. https://slipperybullets.com/ Found this out when buying a bag of smokeless 44.40s from him.
  6. Well poop. That sux, and if I was aware of you needing 25-20 brass I would have brought some up to Buzzard Boil.
  7. Mine as well. Doc Noper can also send you a sample of one for you try out, and size yourself for it.
  8. Thankfully in my circle of clubs/matches I go to, it's been quite a long time since I've experienced the shooting in order as listed on the scoresheets.
  9. It's not 'if' but 'when'. Thinks like this are always part of a large ploy, If nothing comes of challenging this, it will be ready to implement in other States.
  10. They'll find a way, or simply, just create a way.
  11. Youtube, internet radio, Apple Music, Bandcamp. And whatever music groups I belong to on the bookface.
  12. I can say this about them, I only went to one of the concerts, back in 2002, most diverse crowd age wise I have ever seen! From teenagers, up to older than the hills. Never experienced that since. Also, only concert I've been to where the handicap wheelchair section was sold out!! And the people in those wheelchairs were boogieing the night away! The crowd itself was really something to see, everybody having a grand ol' time.
  13. This new album is going to have a few songs recorded with Charlie Watts, and even Bill Wyman!
  14. Yeah, when you lighten the main spring, you should also replace the hand spring with the Ruger style coil spring setup. Reason being is that since there is less force throwing that hammer forward, there is even less force compressing that handspring while it travels down, thus potentially causing light primer hits, or caps failing to fire.
  15. What are the obstacles of making your own caps? Mixing and applying the chemicals to the cap? Or finding thin enough metal to work as we need it to? I am thinking of going down this road myself.
  16. I think more people will develop kits to DIY caps outta soda cans.
  17. possible head spacing issue with new barrel? What about the firing pin spring?
  18. It's been a few years since I've shot Frontiersman, I went to FCGF with my caps cause I like to live life on the razor's edge. I use either my ROA's, or my Uberti 1860's in .44. Winny '73 in 44.40, or Uberti/Winny '73 in .38 Charles Day 12g, or TTN Hammered. Rowdy Yates did up my ROA's, and I DIY'd my Uberti's. I forgot who, maybe Coffinmaker?, told me that when you lighten hammersprings in cap guns or cartridge guns you need to address the handspring. Handsprings can be stiff, and slow everything down has the hammer is falling forward, trying to push that handspring down. Which I was I followed Larsen's DIY instructions and added the Ruger style handspring/plunger setup to my Uberti's. Now they cycle nice and easy, and always go bang.
  19. Lots of fun as always!
  20. Same goes for me Dallas, need some Big Loobs myself.
