Here ya’ go, Al! It’s a Mossberg model 195KA 12ga.
It’s a three shot magazine with a poly-choke and the barrel is vented.
I got it in a deal to clean and examine a bunch of old guns that were rescued by a friend.
I shot it a few times with Winchester AAs and Remington STSs and it shoots where you point it.

Just a few minutes ago, the State Senate of the State of Tennessee passed a bill that would allow qualified teachers to concealed carry in the classroom!!
A companion bill has already been introduced in the House and could be acted on during this session of the state legislature!!
Hope springs eternal!! Being the husband of a career teacher, this bill is close to home for me!!

I could only ask, “How utterly stupid can you possibly be??”
I would probably instantly regret asking that question because I am certain that she would set about to show me!!

Al!! I have an old Mossberg 12ga bolt action shotgun. It’s a magazine fed, three shot model.
I’d let it go fairly cheap if you’d be interested.
If ya’ are, I’ll go take a couple pics and put’em up.

While I was composing my previous post, I received a call from one specialist that is almost local! They received a prescription from my foot surgeon and set me up with an appointment for next Tuesday to see if it is a job that they can handle.
Maybe, if they can’t do it they can refer me to someone nearby who can.

DOM!! Thanks for sharing this! Not everyone gets these updates, (being an NRA member, I do) and despite what some others think, the NRA DOES a lot of good work for those that support the Constitution!!

Thanks DKC, but this is going to require some special construction. The removal of the little toe wouldn’t be a problem, but they had to remove the next bone behind it and cut away much of the one behind that.
As a result, it leaves the end of that third bone just under the skin on the side of my foot. That bone had to remain, at least the part that’s still there, because the tendon that keeps the foot from rolling over is attached to that bone.
SO!! The shoe for that foot or the orthotic that will be needed in order to use any kind of normal shoe will have to be made to cushion that area around the end of the bone, protect the side of the foot where everything was amputated from abrasions, off load the portion of the foot where previous shoes have created ulcers and blisters, and help with the “foot drop” caused by paralysis resulting from previous injuries!
A HUGE combination of things to ask from useful, (to me) footwear.
My other option is to spend the rest of my life taking very few steps at a time and sitting on my posterior, wishing that I could do the things that the rest of me could easily do without a problem!!

Most likely, if your dog’s previous owners didn’t do anything to prevent it, the dog probably pulled the stitches out himself.
As far as doctors charging you to remove stitches, if you’re insured, you’re probably going to pay another copay when you go back to the doctor to have them removed. As to how it gets billed, you’re on your own. My most recent surgery is the the first I’ve had that I didn’t later remove my own stitches.
Scarring?? I don’t have a clue.
Why they didn’t take the dog back to the vet?? You’d have to ask them!!

The home health nurse was here yesterday. The bandages that came off were clean and dry with no evidence of any infection or drainage. She said that she thought that the stitches might come out at the next doctor visit. That’s what the doctor said last week.
Schoolmarm is starting to feel feisty. She’s gone clothes shopping and out to eat twice now and her latest tests are pretty near normal.
The next big problem is finding a specialist that can make shoes or modify the shoes I have to prevent new damage where they removed the infected parts!!
