It used to be an article of fashion and self defense against four leg and two legged varmints. At my age no one would even blink unless it had blades and spikes growing out of it.

Yep, Theres the Sharps Group, Blackpowder Group, Longrifles, Texas Chert (artifacts), several history and science groups, and Woodturning too. And yes, had some run-ins with "friends" who are no longer friends.
You'd never believe someone raised on the Texas Playboys, Ernest Tubb, Lefty Frizzell, and the like would ever even begin to appreciate the Stones....especially the guitar riffs. Well, in all, some of their music sounds a lot more country than whats out there now.
