I have a Marlin in 357/38 that has been worked on... a LOT!!! In order to salvage I'm going to need pretty much all the guts: Lever Carrier Lifter Extractor and Maybe one piece firing pin. Anyone out there with a bunch of extra parts?

Anyone have one laying around? Went to Cimarron's site and they are $2.50 each. But they won't say what shipping will be. So I'm asking here... Thanks, Buzzard

Was at the local GS Wednesday and the S&W rep came in with the new lever gun in SS. Looked really nice except for the removable rail on top and the plastic stock. I asked him when the .357 would come out. Got a vague maybe next year. I like that it can be loaded/unloaded by the gate or mag tube like the current batch of Henry's. Would like to see one with the wood furniture on it though. Price seems to be right around $1600+tax.

And if you'd have put that same money in an IRA mutual fund, it would be worth well over $13,000 today. Guns are for the most part, not a great long term investment. But they sure are fun.
