  1. I think Boomstick Jay in Texas does it also. Randy
  2. I’m shooting Bisley Vaqueros with Boogie’s short strokes and they are the smoothest of any I’ve shot. So far they have set off every brand I’d primer I’ve tried. Randy
  3. Fireball I’ll take the pair of hammer struts with stops. Thanks Randy
  4. Senior gunfighter and senior duelist are not age/based categories. They are shooting style categories with an age restriction. Adjustable sight revolvers are not allowed. I don’t remember what year it changed but senior duelist used to allow adjustable sight revolvers. I had a pair of Blackhawks I had intended to get short stroked to used in Senior Duelist but the rule changed before I turned 60. Randy
  5. I’ll try to attach a video of shooting them, 3 pistol and 3 rifle, double tap Nevada Sweep, 4 SG targets. It was done with my phone so I could not get a view of everything and there’s a lot of dead time. Randy IMG_3888.mov
  6. I found a picture of some of them, you can see the targets on the ground I took down to hang them. Randy
  7. I have bought some from Dragon Targets and I'm happy with them. They constantly have something on sale and ship free on over $100 purchase. Last year around Thanksgiving I bought some approximately 8"x8", 3/8" AR500 pumpkin shaped targets (aim small, miss small) to practice with. You don't need a severe angle on the targets. https://dragontargets.com/sale/ Randy
  8. Congratulations Jace!🤠 Randy
  9. I use the next smaller wad, 3/4oz wad for a 7/8oz load, 7/8oz wad for a 1oz load and a 1oz wad for a 1 1/8oz load. It has worked well for me. Randy
  10. Unfortunately that happens to most of us sometimes! Randy
  11. Front sight should be your throttle limiter, don’t pull the trigger until you see the front sight on target just don’t worry about the center of the target. The club paid for the entire target so it’s ok to use any part of it!😂🤠 Randy
  12. Be careful with with too much dry fire practice, I never missed a target while dry firing!😂🤠 Randy
  13. There have been a lot of good points brought up. Any time I practice the first thing I do is shoot a stage before I do anything else. The reason being is that any time you go to a match you shoot a stage cold. I’ve gone to several matches and the first stage ended up being my best stage. If I have to move after shooting pistols I holster both while I’m moving to the next position. Unlike some I always look my pistols into the holsters, it’s probably slower but I’m not comfortable holstering without looking. As mentioned earlier transitions are everything, learn to do them well. Once you get the fundamentals down don’t be afraid to miss in practice. I shot for several years slow and deliberate before I finally realized that you can’t learn to shoot fast by practicing slow. Now I try to practice on the ragged edge and try to back off just a little in matches. Smooth is fast! Duelist is definitely Coolest! Randy
  14. Congratulations, come back to Tennessee some time and show us the buckle 🤠 Randy
  15. Sound not good on the Zoom TG meeting but if I understood correctly it will be legal (not in Classic Cowboy or B-Western) provided the thread cap is in place. Randy
  16. Around 30 a year including a couple of State Matches, a Regional and Land Run. I’ve had to miss EOT the last 2 years. Randy
  17. While certainly not the cheapest, Rod Kibler Saddlery has one of the most unique, I really like mine. This picture is from his website. http://www.rodkiblersaddlery.com/files/QuickSiteImages/Website-Specialty_Products/butt_cover_06_.jpg Randy
  18. When I was using Red Dot I used a #27 Mec Bushing and if I remember correctly it weighed about 14.5gr. I used the same powder charge with 7/8, 1 and 1 1/8 loads. Randy
  19. The Condor is an Over/Under not a Side by Side so those stocks would not be interchangeable, not sure about the 20/12? Randy
  20. For something other than "Hen's Teeth" it's hard to beat a .38 Special Widdermatic Marlin for B-Western. Randy
