  1. I was replacing mine about every two years just to be safe. My Reno Mustang rifle I’m shooting now has a one piece firing pin so hopefully I won’t have to worry about it breaking. Randy
  2. Widder, his daughter is keeping him busy, she’s a Class A athlete in 3 events. I had to call him last week and remind him to turn in his application!🤠 Randy
  3. Currently at 204 shooters, here's the updated list. Time is getting short, if you want to shoot let us know soon! Thanks Randy Who's attending Main Match 06062025 (2).pdf
  4. El Patron/La Patrona: Age 80 and up. pg.6 SHB Randy
  5. Got a few more stages of targets painted today before the rain hit. Only 3 stages to go. Randy
  6. Here's the Vendors, I don't have a one page list of Sponsors. 2025 Tennessee State Vendors.pdf Randy
  7. I posted that above. Thanks Randy
  8. I am glad you never had any issues but I have seen enough issues in my 20 years of SASS that I will not discourage anyone from using any of the powder check dies. If I’m the TO and someone has an Out of Battery Discharge, I’m a lot closer than I want to be. Randy
  9. Thanks for the information 🤠 Randy
  10. This may not be a simple answer but I’ll ask anyway. I bought one of the Black Friday synthetic stock Stoeger’s and I would like to get it to open a little wider but not sure what to do? Thanks Randy
  11. I have run one for years after I ended up with a couple of squib loads. Not that hard to adjust and I haven't had any trouble with it staying adjusted. The electronics went out on mine but I watched the pointer anyway because the chirp was hard to hear. I tried a RCBS lockout die for a while and liked it also but sold it to a new reloader so he would have something. Once you see a squib that's just far enough in the barrel that the next round won't chamber and the the shooter doesn't realize the squib and slaps the lever trying to get it to chamber and ends up with an out of battery discharge you'll see the benefit of them. Randy
  12. If I'm the TO, I see the need! Randy
  13. Rod Kibler Saddlery makes a really nice one http://www.rodkiblersaddlery.com/SpecialtyProducts.html
  14. Watch the video Larsen posted and NEVER use any spray lube on it! Randy
  15. I need to clarify, I said mine was originally done by Ken but I don’t know that for sure I bought it used and that’s just what I was told. Also the hammer springs are not what was in it when I got it. I have been playing around with springs and that’s what was in it in January when I took those pictures. Sorry if there was any confusion. Randy
  16. According to Idaho Gunslinger Ken does have stiffer springs. I just used some assorted spring stock from Brownell’s. Here are a few pictures that might help you decide if you can do it? Sorry they aren’t very good and some are upside down. Randy
  17. I didn’t delete the safety on mine but I changed to a heavier spring, now it takes both thumbs to activate it. Absolutely no way to accidentally activate it. Mine was originally done by Ken Griner and it’s a very nice gun but I can still shoot my SKB faster. Randy
  18. If you’ve already mailed it you are in!🤠 Dodge City Dixie and I both know it’s on the way!🤠 Randy
  19. Here's an updated Shooters List for the Tennessee State Match, 195 as of Sunday. Who's_attending_Main_Match_06062025[1].pdf Randy
  20. Here's the updated list as of Sunday 195 shooters and you are definitely in!! Who's_attending_Main_Match_06062025[1].pdf Randy
  21. Update! RO 1 and RO 2 are no longer classes. Now the class will be ROBS (Range Operations Basic Safety Course) and Cowboy Module. Due to the new curriculum refresher courses are not allowed at this time. If you are interested in taking this class, please let Tn. Tombstone or me know. So far no one has showed an interest. The class will be cancelled if we don't hear from anyone soon. Thanks Randy
