  1. We will have the Work Shirkers Match this Thursday April 23. We will be shooting Stages 11-15. I will start collecting the money, ($15 members, $20 non-members), at 8:30, Safety Meeting 9:30 and start shooting shortly thereafter. This match and the May 2nd match are the last 2 matches before the Tennessee State Championship, so not many more chances to practice in a match setting before the State begins on June 2nd. If you plan to shoot with us Thursday, please email me at rws2700@comcast.net with your alias and category. Marvelous Marvin, Mountaineer Mac and I were able to get stages 1-5 painted after the match yesterday and this afternoon. We will start painting 11, 13 and 15 after Thursday and those stages will be closed as well. Hope to see you at the range. 🤠 Randy
  2. Marvelous Marvin, Mountaineer Mac and I were able to get stages 1-5 painted for the State Match, after yesterday’s match and this afternoon. There are 3 pictures of each stage. I forgot to take any pictures of stage 3. Randy
  3. I just got this email from Whiskey Hayes; Cowgirls, Cowboys and Wild Bunch Peace treaty with Chief Rain Cloud is still in place but is fragile. Bring all your rain gear to scare any little clouds that might plan to jump the reservation. Wartrace is shooting this Saturday April 18th. Whiskey We will be shooting Saturday, registration opens at 8:30, Safety Meeting at 9:30 and shooting starts shortly thereafter. Cowboys will be shooting stages 1-5 and Wild Bunch will be shooting stages 6-10. The forecast on Apple Weather has the rain not starting until 3pm, hopefully it’s right. There are only 3 more matches, including next week’s Work Shirkers match before the Tennessee State Match, so you may want to come and get in some practice. May 2nd will be the only match in May and this Saturday will be the last Wild Bunch match before the State. If you haven’t sent in your entry for the State Match please send it soon. We have around 190 registered and we’ll start a Waiting List at 225. Hope to see you at the Range! 🤠 Randy

  4. I have the Shotgun Boogie hammer conversion in mine and love it. It was setup by Reno Mustang and also has a Boogie #2 trigger, Boogie lifter and lever springs and a 1-piece firing pin. Randy
  5. I just emailed the list from my phone, hopefully it will work. Randy
  6. Pm me your email address and I’ll try to send it that way. It worked on my phone and computer? Randy
  7. 8 weeks until the first 6 stages and we have 179 shooters registered. We start a waiting list at 225 so send in your applications soon. 🤠 Attached is a Shooters List. Thanks Randy Who's attending Main Match 06062025.pdf
  8. It is entirely up to you whether you have a rear sight or not (or a front one for that matter). I’m pretty sure Widder used to run his rifle with no rear sight, don’t know if he still does or not. As Garrison Joe and Flying W Ramrod said, there is no requirement to have sights. Randy
  9. I put a cork in my barrel and sprayed a lot of Kroil in the barrel and let it sit overnight and was then able to get the separated case out with the Shotgun Boogie tool. I might have just got lucky? Randy
  10. Boogie hammers are very similar to Super Blackhawk hammers. I personally like them better than Montado hammers. Boomstick could put Super Blackhawk hammers in place of the Montado hammers if that is what you prefer. Randy
  11. I have both and can’t tell the difference when shooting. But for whatever reason on a 6 shot run with a pigeon flipper and a clay bird, I’m about 1 second faster with the SKB. Randy
  12. Hornady One Shot Cleaner and Lube. Randy
  13. Right now I'm using Perfect Pattern Powder. Hodgdon online reloading manual has some usable loads for it, down to about 970fps. I use STS hulls, Cheddite or Remington primers and I drop down one wad size to get a good stack height. 1 1/8oz load-1oz wad, 1oz load-7/8oz wad, 7/8 oz load-3/4oz wad. Randy
  14. No, we still have room, last I heard we were around 165, we start a waiting list at 225. Send in your application and come join in on the fun! 🤠 Thanks Randy
  15. Wartrace Regulators will be shooting our April Cowboy Match tomorrow, April 4th. The forecast for Wartrace looks good with rain not starting until 6pm but bring your rain gear for insurance. Registration starts at 8:30, Safety Meeting at 9:30 and shooting shortly thereafter. Fees are still $15 members and $20 non-members. We will be shooting stages 1-5 and I hate to disappoint English Tom but we aren't shooting the Texas Star. We only have a few more matches at Wartrace before the Tennessee State Championship, June 4-6. Please get your entry in soon if you plan to shoot. We are at 159 shooters with 2 months to go. Hope to see you at the range! Randy
  16. Wartrace Regulators will be hosting an ROBS+CAS course on April 15th. This is the new course that replaced RO1 and RO2. The class will be at the range and you do not need to bring any guns. The cost for the class is $30. We will start at 9am and expect it to last 5-6 hours. If you would like to take the class please contact me at rws2700@comcast.net with you alias. I will send more information to those attending. Whiskey Hayes, Randy Saint Eagle and possibly Tennessee Williams will be teaching the class. Thanks Randy.

  17. I guess this was ok, I didn't get hung and we only had one "P" on the stage and that was by a shooter shooting Josey Wales for the first time. Randy 🤠
  18. We have a new shooter that called Monday and talked to Ruby to sign up and confirm his alias. After just getting back from EOT, I expect they are just very busy catching up. 🤠 Randy
