Billy, the answer is yes, but I want to discuss the operation. I want to be able to adjust the smoke density and have a timer that I can program for 30 sec so I can produce smoke during a shooting string only. I have found a couple of units that will allow me to do that.
How long will it last before refilling the tank. drop me a line at prlucky299@aol.com and we can discuss further... THANKS...…..RT

Bailey, Barlands and I bought some and cronographed against Clay Dot. Almost identical results. Very fine powder and appears to burn cleaner than Clay Dot. Just started to use it, but so far happy with results. We just finished loading up 1000 rounds to shoot over the next month or so indoors at the club. So far so good. Check back around Feb.
How you doin with that knockoff 38 parts gun...……..RT

Dee Mak...... I still have the grip frames and triggers and hammer sets for those guns. iF YOU WANT TO RESTORE THEM TO ORIGINAL i WOULD TRADE THEM BACK TO YOU FOR THE BISLEY PARTS.
Just a thought. Maybe originals would sell better for you...Regards..RT

Good to hear from you. I'll definitely give that some thought. Been struggling with my new knee. I think the difference in the walk with the knee has given me a lot of lower back pain. It's finally starting to get better. I have good range of motion so I just need to get over the sore back. Looking forward to seeing you in the spring. Winter well. God bless.

Yup. My knee replacement caused some walking issue's. Had Planters Facitius show up on my god foot for awhile.. Better now.........Had some good results this year. My rehab took about 3 months with full range of motion after about 8 months, but not enough to affect the game.....Going to Winter RANGE THIS YEAR!!!
Winter well my friend. Have wonder holidays......

Hey dog, the reason I didn't jump on your gun was all I have is $1100. I don't want to offend so I'm continuing to look for one at that price point. I enjoyed shooting with you at Fall Roundup. Maybe our trails will cross again. I'll be in Branson next week and Tennessee for their regional in Nov and Winter Range in Feb. Best of luck Regards......Rootin Tootin

Hey Jackaroo. I've been trying to help Painted Mohawk get a part. Jackrabbit Joe has one and I'm thinking based on your emails with Mohawk you two will hook up in July. He hasn't had any luck contacting Mohawk.
Can you contact Jackrabbit Joe and coordinate. I believe the part will be at Joe's home jJune 11.
Thanks RT

Hey Mohawk. Had a chance to shoot with KC Woody a couple weeks ago. Great guy. He made a pistol shop on a side match, with a fixed site pistol, that was like the shot in the Magnificent 7 where the guy was riding over the ridge and Colburn shot him. GREAT SHOT!!!! Guess you guys down under don't need rifles....
Hope all is well with you.. Regards RT

Howdy Bullett. Have you come to any decision on the trade? Do you have any more questions or require anymore pictures?

I sent info to the Facebook page as well. My SASS #21707, live in Iowa, Midwest Region. Been a SASS member since 1998 and have been shooting Duelist since 1998. I would like to be a Pistolero. How do I qualify and sign up. My good friend Ima Olcowhand told about this group and I sure would like to join.....
Regards....RT

I'm thinking of making a 7 1/2 Ruger Vaquero. I have a barrel from a new model Blackhawk that will fit an Old Model Vaquero but want a blade front site since it needs to be a Vaquero with a 7 1/2 barrel to be legal for SASS.
Duece shoots 7 inchers that he built and thought I'd try and build one to see if there is any benefit over my 5 1/2's
That's why the question.
Regards......RT

Larsen, I've been reading about the expansion of classes into sub categories, provided the numbers exist. Will you be offering Elderstatesman Duelist or Silver Senior Duelist at WR?. How many will you need if either is offered? I am Currently signed up for WR as a Senior Duelist, because at the time there was nothing more offered, but at age 71 could qualify for either Elderstatesman Duelist or Silver Senior Duelist, if offered.......and would be willing to make the switch...
Your thoughts please. Thank you Rootin Tootin 21707

Lottie, I have two pair of wood, checkered GF original Bisley Vaquero grips if you are still looking.... Sold the guns but kept the GF grips.

Slick, about the Comancharo, is this a stock Comanchero with Cody links or did it get sent to Cody for the Codymatic?
Also any interest in a trade for a "Virgin" SKB 100 with inertia single trigger and 28 inch barrel? Real nice wood.
Thanks........RT
-
Southwest, this may be more than you want.....I have a Virgin SKB 100, with excellent bores, great wood and bluing, inertia single trigger, 28 inch barrel.. Never a cowboy gun with light use. I've been selling off my extra shotguns. First was a slicked up Stoger, then recently a slicked up CZ. I don't need this Virgin to hunt and it's too perty to cut and slick up. I already have 2 SKB's slicked up. One by Johnny Meadows and one by Jimmy Spurs so I've decided to sell it...........
I'll let this one go for $1135........... Can send pics if interested........... prlucky299@aol.com

Thanks for the offer.
However the 1st thing I'd have to do would bring it to Johnny and spend about $300.00 to shorten the barrels, change to a mechanical trigger, and hone the tubes, and make it a "stay-open".
So now it's a $1,500.00 gun.
Thanks for the offer.
What's the possibility of 1 of the 2 already slicked up SKB's?

Yes, I have 2 sets of Rosewood Altimont Bisley grips for trade with some cash if interested, for trade for gunfighter grips...….

Any interest in the parts or the entire Charles Dailey after you viewed the pics.

Cody, just a quick FYI (no disrespect) a 12 stage main match with a 4 stage mini match and speed rifle side match will exceed 200 rounds easy if you play a lot with the side matches........Just saying.......RT

Having given it some additional thought. If your new rifle has a slightly larger chamber than your old one. You could experiment a bit with your load recipe using the new rifle and try to get a little more pressure to expand the case more. Perhaps a little more powder or a different powder and/or the next heavier bullet in your caliber.
I noticed one suggestion was to measure and compare the fired cases from each rifle. Good idea, but if my guess is correct you'll find the diameters to be the same.
I found out the hard way that my '92 has a much larger chamber than my '73 when I tried a suggestion of just neck sizing my brass. The neck sized brass from my '92 was very hard to chamber in the '73, they would go in but took a lot more force. Now I use a Redding Dual Sizing die and it works great. Since I insist on shooting .45s, blowback and regular gun cleaning are just a way of life. Good luck

Do I need a 44 special pistol or can they be shot safely with a 44 magnum.. I picked up a 73 in 44 special and might want to do Classic Cowboy but don't have pistols yet.
