Alpo, Alpo, Alpo! Let me just say....."Ruff, ruff, ruff.......... 'growl with a few barks'. ..........Widder

I figure the 125 grain or 135 grain 'Barnstormer' bullet would be about the lightest in .45 caliber. If anything lighter than those, then it would be your lightest load. ..........Widder

O.K, Saloonaholics, if anyone should know about good Popcorn, I figured you fellers would. Ole 'Orville' makes some good stuff, but I don't want to buy every brand to find the best. But I know some of you would have a good favorite microwavable popcorn. Thank you kindly. P.S. - being stuck inside during these snowy days in E. Tennessee, popcorn can become a favorite snack. ..........Widder

Randy, I'll tell you what appears to me in that video. TN Williams stuck his big boot out and tripped ya on purpose. That's why he wears those big boots. They're about 2 sizes bigger than his feet. ..........Widder

For many Marlin owners, the 'JM' marking means its an original Marlin. Supposedly, none of the Remington produced 'Marlins' ever had that marking. I have seen original Marlins without such a marking. ..........Widder

Its my understanding that a MDQ on side match day is ONLY for that day, but the MDQ is not carried over to the main match, assuming this is approved by the Match Director/club. BUT..... a MDQ on the 1st day of a multiple day match IS for the complete match. Is my understanding correct? ..........Widder

That question also crossed my mind. It would have been easier to just put 'Guns'. or 'Firearms'. ..........Widder

Wouldn't you know it....... just when TN Williams was planning to put up his Halloween decorations, it snows. So sad! ..........Widder

I wonder WHY the sign says 'Guns, Pistols' instead of 'Rifles, Pistols'. ..........Widder

I recently checked out a few of their YouTube videos. They were very entertaining and Larry was a darn good guitar picker and showman. RIP Larry and Lorrie. ..........Widder -
Creeker, your kindness to your friends and fellow man are only exceeded by your generosity in deeds. ..........Widder

If your scratch/cut was from the Manura vine, which grows in the tops of oak trees, its possible you could get Hypocondriactism from bacteria in the docs mouth. This happened to TN Williams a few years back and it effected his left hand middle finger, especially when he's driving in heavy traffic. ..........Widder

I'm gonna give your number to your local Las Vegas 'Chippendale Dance Club' and have them put you on Robo Call. ..........Widder

Got him. Thanks everyone. I appreciate it and owe you a cold Pepsi. ..........Widder -
As many a great shooter has told us......... TRANSITIONS. Practice your transitions. For me personally, one of the gremlins that seems to bite me more often in a match is reholstering my pistols SMOOTHLY and quickly. We're all a little different and we all have weaknesses and strength. And because reholstering is a MUST on every stage, I want to make it a fast and smooth operation for me. And as a GF, its a two headed gremlin. Mileage varies. Good Luck pard. ..........Widder

These low serial numbered IAC 'CowBoy' models are great 97's. I own 3 of them or else I would probably make Ace a good offer on it. They are tough and function like we want them to function. Mine have given me carefree service. Good luck to someone.......... Chicken George may be the lucky one. ..........Widder

I thought about applying but most of the job requires working during Cowboy shoots on Saturday. ..........Widder -

1. Sometimes its a high primer. Primers are needed to be seated slightly below the rim. If they are seated 'flush', this can give inconsistent ignition. 2. Also, as a shooter gets faster with working their lever rifles, its possible you are working the lever just as the hammer is able to COMPLETELY fall and strike the firing pin with full force. The faster you can work the action..... the faster the hammer needs to fall. 3. your hammer spring may be a tad weaker than before. ..........Widder

Marlin action work
Widder, SASS #59054 replied to James Henry Parker SASS#76661's topic in SASS Wire
I've handled both Longhunter's and Slater's Marlins and both do top notch rifle work and both are great to work with. You won't go wrong with either. Best regards ..........Widder -

Can you see it?
Widder, SASS #59054 replied to Father Kit Cool Gun Garth's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
I see the sniper AND... I see that snake right below his left elbow/forearm area. The snake is lying there in the shape of the letter 'S' and it looks to be a fat snake about twice the length of his forearm length. The snake was the first thing I saw and it only took about 3 seconds. Its so obvious I could smell it. ..........Widder
