The RCMP are no longer called officers, but are rather Members, kind-of like "Cosco" members ???
Jabez Cowboy
The RCMP have referred to "themselves" as members for several years. Example: Detachment A has 14 regular members, 3 civilian members and 2 auxiliary members posted there. Another: I was talking to Joe Smith yesterday and is a retired member. It is an RCMP internal thing only.

Coffee for the Grumps hay for the Steads, no snow left...

We still have lots of snow up here in Red Deer County. We are at the edge of the chinooks.

It might last until you got out of sight, but not longer.
Then it would be off to the Port of Montreal, into a shipping container and off on a sea voyage to it's new owner.
Exactly!

This is the first year that I put up the outside Christmas lights while wearing a short-sleeved shirt. Normally it's -20.

The Liberal Government Was offering Veterans Assisted Suicide .... After all why should they receive the benefits they were promised and are entitled to ...

Trudeau had the gall to stand in an open forum and tell a wounded warrior, to his face, who lost his leg from stepping on a land mine in Afghanistan, that "You are asking for more than we can give."
I had to stop watching that video as it was too hard on my blood pressure.

I'm a Canadian, and I don't know what made those marks. Do I have to turn in my citizenship?
OK, I took another look. At first glance I thought that was a foam cooler and couldn't figure out what would make those marks on a foam cooler. Now I see that it is a full size freezer and of course those are hockey puck marks. Hey, I'm old. I can remember my Dad coming home from WWll.

Then quit voting for him.
Normal people don't. It's the WOKE side of the house that vote for him, along with all the women out there that still consider him to be in the rock star category.

But I'm curius if anyone knows what makes thus more hilarious than the situation...
*hint....that dude is not a real guard and she is definitely not a tourist
Real guards that wear the bearskin hat do not wear the chin strap under their chin. It runs between the chin and lower lip.

I'd like to and I'm thinking about it. After all, someone has to come last place.
MAN! I've been looking at the times for EOT etc. and those folks TOTAL MATCH times are what I shoot for a STAGE!
I am thinking about driving the motor home out though, but I'm pretty much alone now for a long trip.
My son, Big Red is working and saving his vacation time for a winter trip to visit friends in Florida and my riding partners; fellow Trail Boss (West) for the Wranglers and the TG for the area have commitments and responsibilities around here.
I'm also waiting to hear about my knee replacements, so I'll have to play it by ear.
Getting old sucks!
Sorry CLK, I have last place clinched. If I shoot a stage under a minute, the rest of the posse applauds and yells things like, "Good going Buffalo Creek, you da man."

I keep wondering:
Does anyone in Canada read history.
Legal law abiding gun owners do. The Woke crowd, not so much, their goal is to erase history.

Facebook had a melt down when I posted this, in a thread about the upcoming Canadian Laws on Censorship.
(Apparently, the existing current laws on slander and libel aren't sufficient for our Prime Minister. He want to be able so shut down ALL dissent, as determined by HIS appointees.
Sound familiar?????????
I think I know the guy mean.

Well, I hope you're feeling better soon Rev.
Big Red and I had it, but it was more like a mild case of the sniffles for a day or so.
Coming soon to Canada with our current
ComLiberal government is legislation to cease the legal transfer of handguns to new legal owners. Those who own handguns after the selected date will be allowed to keep them for their life, but the handguns will then revert to the state and be destroyed.
Drug gangs, thieves and other criminals are of course exempt in practical terms.
Now ask me how GRUMPY I am.
I wonder how many will end up on the black market when the time comes. Four handguns will bring in $20 to $25,000 on the BM. Put the cash in the safety deposit box. By the time the government finds out, the guy will be dead and buried and the money will become part of his estate, which will have been distributed to his next of kin months if not years before the government finds out. Who are they going to charge? The choice is $20 to $25,000 in his NOK pockets or, nothing. The trouble with socialists is that they never think things through. I can't believe that they never looked at it close enough to see this blatant loophole, that will just increase gun crime in Canada.

Three weeks ago, my wife woke up with a cold, but tested positive for COVID as did our neighbour and my wife's cousin earlier this week. All three had 4 COVID shots so it wasn't too hard on them.

I have 4 acres of grass to cut twice a week. I don't mind it, as I sit on the lawn mower, I listen to those old western radio shows on my Iphone through my hearing aides. With the hearing mufflers on the outside of the ears, the lawn mower sound is hardly there and the radio shows come through loud and clear. Right now I'm listening to 92 episodes of Joel McCrea as Ranger Jace Pearson of The Texas Rangers.
