WTB IAC 87 Buttstock- Found. Thanks Outlaw Gambler
Outlaw Gambler replied to Sarge's topic in SASS Wire Classifieds
I have some NIB IAC 1887 shotgun Stock & Forearm sets. Sending you a p.m. -
Our 32-20's include three original Colt lightning rifles, one pair of Taylor revolvers, and until just recently sold, a pair of Ruger vaqueros. No problem what so ever hearing the clang, unless it is a miss. Fun to shoot, especially with the Colt rifles set up for CAS. Try the caliber, you will like it.

I am not sure why you will not email me regarding this sale. I have purchased a gun or two from this forum. Usually the seller and buyer exchange emails to obtain buyers info and FFL and sellers info for who and where to send payment. When payment is received gun is shipped. We are hung up in the first phase, you will not email me. I have provided my email to you as a p.m. and in this forum. It appears that I want the 87 more than you want to sell it. However, if you will email me at outlawgambler@gmail.com we can still complete the sale.

WTB Ruger “old” Vaqueros in 32-20
Outlaw Gambler replied to Double Barrel, SASS 34765's topic in SASS Wire Classifieds
Even though we had a delivery scare you are now the proud owner of something Sir Lancelot could not find, the holy grail, hens teeth and a pair of Ruger Vaqueros in 32-20 that don't exist. -
Do you know of anyone making repoduction barrels, round and octagon, in 45-70 for the original Winchester 1886? I am also interested in the original barrels in this caliber if they are available in shooting condition. Thanks, OG

Has anyone here had any luck bidding on Gun Broker?
Outlaw Gambler replied to Pat Riot's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
I am a regular user of Gunbroker with about a 1,000 purchase transactions, just purchased three last night. No problems at all. Not many auctions start with bidders highest wants to buy bid and most buyers know if they start early the will be outbid and have to rebid later anyway. The clock is a bidders best friend. Unlike Ebay it ends "sniping" and gives a serious bidder time to reconsider bidding again if out bid. With the increased demand for firearms in todays society there are no more "cheap" guns. -
FS 32-40 Lead bullets, PRICE REDUCTION

I will check and let you know -
Don't know why you/he is not considering a Winchester and at 86 maybe a 16 gauge. But, the 04 series is not much better than the 01-03's. They were put together with mismatched carriers, bolts, firing pins, and receivers. Tuning them is possible but may not be a cheap thing to do if carriers or bolts are required. I have plenty of parts for the Norinco/IAC so don't be afraid of not finding them. Point to consider. A Winchester that has been smoothed out will run about $600 - $700. An IAC that you can buy (Like an 04) for $400 - $500 will take a minimum of $150 to smooth out and possibly more. The absolute best IAC is the cowboy model with serial numbers starting with CB prefix but they are hard to find and expensive.
