I like em. I generally prefer walnut to rosewood, but on your gun they look amazing.
Redwood, I like walnut also. Here are Altamont "Smith and Wesson J Square Fingergroove Super Walnut Checkered Fleur-de-Lis" grip stocks on my S&W model 34-1 "Kit Gun." The original Magna stocks were too small and these stocks were a big improvement to shooting this .22LR revolver.

Well the first flight was at Kitty Hawk.

Hardpan!! You worked faithfully and they decide to pull the rug out from under you! Work out the three weeks, grab your dismissal papers and go directly to the unemployment office!! File for benefits and use them as you see fit. They could have paid you more if they weren't required to pay unemployment insurance on your behalf. YOU ARE ENTITLED TO THAT BENEFIT!! You paid for it, despite what ANYONE tells you to the contrary, and if you played by the rules you should be paid recompense!!
Nod and smile as you leave and giggle all of the way to the Unemployment Office!!!

They are purdy....think I'll take a gander at the smooth version for the .44
Sam, Altamont target grips are more narrow than the factory S&W target grips found on those Smith revolvers back in the 70's. You may or may not like the narrower grips.

I like my Combat Grips on my S&W 625.
Rolan, I must say that I was torn between the Altamont Combat grips and the Target grips.

You gave them three (3) months, and they gave you (3) weeks? Seems you're employer is low-classed to me. But, now you can draw unemployment if'n ya wish.
Congrats on your retirement Hardpan. Enjoy a life of leisure and enjoy it to the fullest!

Too bad someone had to die. But, it seems the passerby citizen had no choice. Hope the trooper has a full recovery and the citizen does well.

Today I received new Altamont rosewood grip stocks for my S&W model 625-9 "Mountain Gun." I do like the way these stocks look, but even better, the revolver seems to point more accurately than the original Hogue black rubber stocks. I hope they also improve my shooting this revolver. Now I need to get to the range and find out.
My new Altamont "S&W N Round Conversion Target Super Rosewood Checkered Engraved" grip stocks.
Purty ain't they?

No. But it would convince folks you are a nutty Baptist who believes in dancing.....
..........Widder
Oh, that would never do.

Ding Dongs are one of my favorites.

I like Maxine's style!

I wouldn't mind winning the lottery just to find out if those media goofs are right about lotto winners ruining their lives...hehehe
Oh, to prove them wrong would be so much fun.
Or Pat, you could give it all to one of your aggravating relatives and ruin their lives!

So, if I nail one foot to the floor and then start running around in 6400 mil circles, does that make me a big wheel?

A recall on TWINKIES!

Might try having the cylinder bolt polished by someone who knows what they are doing.

Considering all of human history, just being a middle-class American at this time in history is hitting the big one!

I have one that was issued to me in 1981 and has"LASD" stamped on the side. I carried it for one year in patrol until I bought a 6" model 66. The model always shot better than my model 66. It's a great revolver.
The Irishman's right... the Model 15 shoots better than my Model 66-2.... lower left-hand corner....
Mayobard and Studly, although I've only had one day at the range with Polly, my wife's Model 15 "Combat Masterpiece," I shoot Maggie, my Model 19-3 better. But I shoot my Model 19 "Combat Magnum" both single action and double action better than any handgun I've ever had; even with the few magnum loads I've put through her.

Bless his heart.

CR, you'd have to remove it from my wife. I wouldn't want to see either of us harmed.

I still believe that crossbows should be banned from use against Christians. Especially against armored Christian knights!

Oh, just a brace of 16-bore SxS Holland & Holland Royals.

The Uberti 73 was my first and only CAS rifle. Never been sorry. It's a jewel.

Badger, just a little virtual temptation. A S&W Model 24 revolver in .44 Special. Depending on the purpose of your .44 Special, either a 6.5-inch barrel or a 4-inch barrel. Less popular than the Model 29 in .44 Magnum, the Model 24 might be harder to find. And, they ain't cheap.
Of course, you might get a Model 29 since you can shoot .44 Special or .44 Magnum. The Model 24 has a lighter, tapered barrel.
Smith & Wesson Model 24.
There ya go. If I was looking for a revolver in .44 Special, the S&W Model 24 is what I'd get. Virtually that is.

That is nice, it will shoot as good as it looks. I've got one that is a tack driver. If your wife shoots it, you won't ever get it back.
Slip, your prediction came true! The wife and I took Polly, the Model 15-4 "Combat Masterpiece" and Maggie, my Model 19-3 "Combat Magnum" to the range today. The wife after shooting four cylinders, both single-action and double-action, through Polly and keeping her shots, with the exception of a couple of flyers, within a 6 inch circle at seven yards, my wife told me, "Honey, I like MY revolver better than yours." She has laid claim to Polly and it will be in the night stand on my wife's side of the bed replacing the little 2-inch Taurus Ultra-Light .38 Spl. Now ain't this a trick, my wife likes her new revolver because "When I shoot MY new gun it doesn't hurt my hand."
Polly is a delight to shoot. But, Slip, you nailed it. I ain't getting Polly back!!

Widder, I'm doing very well. Thanks for asking. I was happy to hear the most recent liable and perjury charges against you have been dismissed.
