Way to go Misty! I tried to send you a personal message but you can’t receive them. I was a little discouraged since had not heard back from the main office but that is ok, you got it done for us. I believe you have ten sold already. The actual badge I saw looks ten times better than that old drawing.  Irish ☘️ Pat sass 19486

You will love the badge - VERY high quality - I cherish mine :)

  2. PRGF 12ga requirements being:

    Shotgun
    Double or 87 Only

60 grs by volume of black powder or BP substitute
1 -1/8 oz or more of shot

I was having "blooming" issues but after changing over to a Claybuster CB1138-12 wad filled with a smidge over 1-1/8oz #6 shot atop 70grs  Goex FFg ...it's great.

    Works for me. :D

I had a lot of Cowpokes wanting SASS coins!  Got them designed and place to manufacture them!  The only problem was that those that really really wanted them wanted someone else (me) to up front the cost.  Figured if I sold at least half of the coins the Cowpokes said they wanted I'd break even.  SASS stepped in and asked if it be OK if they take over the project.  "No problem go for it! " said I.  SASS discontinued them after the first run, lack of sales.

Small community called Foraker was on the edge of our Telephone service area.  Residents were tired of "slow" dial-up Internet service.  Oh how they all wanted DSL service!  Well after spending $75,000 we got Foraker the DSL they all so wanted so bad.  Went door to door handing out flyers.  Found out the majority that just could not live with dial-up decided to stay with dial-up!!!!!!  Why?  Because even though DSL was more then 50 times faster than dial-up they didn't want to pay more for it.

Where am I going with all this?

I sure the interest in a SASS Team Patriot Badge will be high as long as someone else takes the financial risk and sale them for way below cost.

I still have some in all three shades - bought maybe 10 each and gave most of them away.

I dig my Team SASS badge too :P

    Howdy Gunner.

I'm sure Ocoee Red would have allowed a sub SG shooter, but I really didn't care about the time, etc.....

My goal was to get outside and play a little with my Cowboy Pards/Pardettes and have some fun.

I shot my rifle and pistols casually and wanted to make sure I didn't overdo meowndangself.

I felt good the whole match, but I must admit that I sure was tired after the match and slept a little

in the truck on the way home.

Ocoee Rangers have some fantastic Shotgunners and I would have been honored to have any of

them sub for me.   BUT, it just wasn't that important to me.

    Hope you are doing well.

    ..........Widder

That's great - glad it worked out - but my post wasn't about "time" - it was having FUN working with working through the inconvenience. Stay healthy pard!

You would have been rolling seeing Deuce and the Mighty Furball working together in this manner - true comedians :D

  5. Why not have substitute shotgunner - you fire your pistols/rifle and when it comes time for the SG you mosey over to position and stand there while the sub retrieves the shells from your cartridge belt, loads and fires the SG for ya. Saw that team action with Deuce and the mighty Furball.

  7. Does anyone know where to find Colonel Dan's writings. I remember a link sometime ago and read that it was removed from the internet. Certainly hope that there is an archive somewhere digitally.

    Thanks for any help.
