Sell the business! You guys must think I have some mini factory set up here, but I don't. It has been just me and my hand casting moulds and my Magma lead pot, which I am going to need to keep my family in bullets. Might sell a couple of the spare Star sizers, but that would be it. Been a difficult year for me, what with getting Covid in August, then re-injured my SI joint last month(old motorcycle injury).  I really gotta stop crawling under my autos to work on them! That is what my 19 year old son is for.  And last week I managed to pop out a rib in front, but my Chiro is taking care of that.  So I am still taking orders until probably the end of November or so, but they aren't going to go out fast. I pulled the Big Lube page on my website but I hope to continue with the leather side of the business, so my e-mail address is still posted if you have questions about ordering.

Thanks for the great bullets over the years - wishing you the best in the future amigo.

Sorry it is taking me some time to get back. I've got a lot of dogs barking in the kennel right now.

I've started setting up a list that is trying to cross reference the NRA-ILA, the CRPA foundation, Gun Owners of California, SAF and the GOA.

It's a bit of a haul and honestly, with Gavin's signing spree, it's really hard to round up into anything that makes sense. (It's not really my wheelhouse, but I try.)

You can start with the CRPA litigation list. Mind you, it will change by Friday if I don't miss my guess.

You'll notice it doesn't list the pending lawsuit involving the CADOJ info dump from last week.

The right to keep and bear arms (RKBA) is sometimes called “Liberty’s Teeth” because it protects all the rest of our liberties. The CRPA legal team works to strategically develop Second Amendment jurisprudence and to challenge unconstitutional or illegal and ill-conceived gun laws in court. Our team of highly regarded civil rights attorneys and scholars from across the country have the experience, resources, skill, and expertise needed to maximize the potential for victory in California’s often hostile 2A environment.

The ruling in the hard fought McDonald case (in which The CRPA Foundation filed an amicus brief) opened the door for additional legal challenges to state and local gun laws in California.  Now that we have court rulings confirming that the Second Amendment civil right applies nationally.  Winning decisions in other jurisdictions can be used as important legal precedent in California.  The CRPA legal team litigates against ill-conceived gun control laws and ordinances.  With decades of experience litigating civil rights issues, the lawyers and experts that make up The CRPA Legal team provide perspective and experience that is more critical than ever.

     Thanks pard.

I'm not sure that made in the USA is any assurance of quality. They just went through a big recall for unsafe guns. I hope this new gun is good, but I'll believe it when I see it.

  4. Nice looking rifle - The "made in USA" is always a plus with Henry along with their outstanding customer service. I know the early Big Boys were not the "fastest" in CAS so hopefully Henry can reach out (if they haven't already) to SASS/CAS shooters who know rifles in and out and design/improve the action to be competitive with the other offerings out there.

  6. No - make it easy on yourself. Hot (not too hot) water, run a rod with swab down the barrel, wipe away BP residue elsewhere, dry via wiping and/or air hose, apply Balistol in bore, internals, surface and wherever, and wipe excess. Done.

So easy a caveman can do it.

  8. Does anyone know where to find Colonel Dan's writings. I remember a link sometime ago and read that it was removed from the internet. Certainly hope that there is an archive somewhere digitally.

    Thanks for any help.
