  1. Still on the recovery side of this virus.  Tests are negative but dragging hind in,  lungs weak.  I've had to miss some matches and activities because I just don't have the stamina.  This is crap.

I'm pressing on every day a little better but I can identify with Doc Holiday or Doc Hock a day...

  2. CLK that should cause an uprising against said authorities in question.  Something about a quote in Tombstone about Hell's coming with me, and a quote from Charlton Heston prying it from my cold dead fingers, and another by our own Patrick Henry, give me liberty or give me death.  Grumps is growing and the unofficial GOFWG lists are growing...

Lest this get too political, I am of course referring to hypothetical situations...,nothing to see behind the curtain, pay no attention to the red theatre lights and riechstag language.

  3. Well now dad blame it all.  There's kids and dogs all over my front lawn!  I fixed em.  Posted Quarantine-COVID!  (and its true).

They come around now they can take it home with em,  I don't want it anymore.   I got it nasty but chills and headaches have subsided.

Medicines are worse than the China Virus.  What's a fella to do?  Good Book is hard to follow when you feel this bad.  But I'm still an official GOFWG and have my badge to prove it.

Now where'd everybody go?  Anyone got one of Blue's pups?

  4. Well, (grumpiness aside) I'm now a full fledged Reverend with ordination papers and all.  Now I can officially bury those who trample the front lawn with a proper etiquette.

  5. Jabez, almost is the key word.  Dont go crawling under the dirt before your time.  Been there myself with pneumonia 4X, twice in both lungs but I'm still aggravating my pretty little red head.    Heal up deep inside where it counts.

Someone's gotta check on the grump level.

  6. Jabez you seemed to have a guardian angel riding shotgun with you.  Glad you're on the mend with a good wife and pards around who care.

keep them buzzards at bay, we'll keep you in our prayers.  Angels are still on duty taking calls.

    Hey REV.

That 40-82 can be a lot of Fun .... I used ta load her up with 230 gr. Cast RNFP bullets  over H-4350 ...

Or a case full of Goex 3F ....

    Jabez Cowboy

I gotta find some brass for it.  Hard to come by.

  8. Chewed on bear sign and drowned it down with coal black coffee.  Slipped and slided to town and back with the missus,  still no ammo for the old Winchesters.  I've been wanting to shoot 40-82 and 32-40 so will have to figure this out in this cold weather.

    Rev.....get off my lawn!!!!!

  9. I've got one of them 20 inch Spanish SxS 10 ga 3 1/2 in chambers.  I load a full square of ffg Goex and it will get a "take cover" reaction everytime.  Its a tank.  Goes with my full bore flaming 44's.

  10. I mentioned to a whippersnapper I was a proud member of GOFWG and they stood there with mouth gaping open and a glazed look.   After I explained it to them they got a scared teary eyed look in their eyes.  I don't know if it was how I gently explained it or the double barrelled shotgun on my lap.

    Get off my lawn.

  11. I don't see any grass here, just snow.  I'm stickin my head in again to keep you all properly mannered in grumpiness.   I've been out checking thermal Pulsar scopes to snag a few coyotes.  Then researching a roomful of old smokepoles when I can't get out of the house.  I'm getting cabin fever....

    Stay off the lawn!

  12. Good soggy Saturday.  I put in my retirement papers at work for 3 months from now.  If they kick me aside sooner, good.  My plate is full and overflowing but I'm ok with that.  My 89 year old father just handed me control of the farm operation.  So there's no true retirement,  just changing vocations.  Not much planted in this rainy flooded year so far.  Best thing for strangers to do is stay off our soggy yard.

  13. Buffalo Creek Law Dog I sure did.  Had the shot 10 years ago after I recovered from double pneumonia.  Supposed to be for life.  Theres a booster after 65 but Im a few months away from that.  I wasn't too pleased but it is what it is.   I am improving
