  2. Put a scope on a muzzleloader, and it can be a tack driver, even for mediocre off-hand shooters. For hunting deer, elk & pigs, definitely an advantage. Nice looking rifle too!
  3. Good Morning White Lightnin: It is a single unit that does all 4 calibers, and I only have the one. SASS sez that you cannot receive private messages, so please send me a PM with your phone number, and I will text you my information. Thanks --Dawg

  5. I believe it is, but the original owner passed, and I have no receipt, so I cannot prove it. It has a "REGULAR" serial number. My 38 Rodeos, I purchased new from LongHunter, so they have "LongHunter" serial numbers. (LH***) This was most likely sent to LongHunter for action work after it was purchased. If you are looking for a pair, I have its brother, same gun/work, just a bit more wear. Sell 'em both for $2700 Shipped. Thanks --Dawg
  6. Good Afternoon: I'd like a set please. PM on the way! Thanks --Dawg
  7. Good Evening: I have an old Hornady BP Measure. I bought it from Rye Miles when he quit black powder for $20. I never got around to using it -- it just sat in my garage for a time. I don't even know if I have all the parts -- I know I don't have the reservoir cap. So, what you see is what you get for $20 + shipping. If you want to buy it, PM me your address, so I can give you a quote. Then, I take Paypal F&F, and personal checks. Thanks --Dawg
  8. I love 'em! But then, I don't care about times, my score, or finishing high up. I've had a bunch of them over the years. Several 24" in both brass & steel, in both 45 Colt & 44-40 Several carbines (they don't hold 10 rounds 44-40 in the magazine) However, my favorite match rifle is a 44-40 Henry Transitional built for me by Coffinmaker. Slightly shorter barrel really improves the handling. He also built me one in 45 Colt. Paired with my cap guns, black powder, & hammer double, it makes for a great day!! They are exceptionally accurate rifle, due to the magazine slot & barrel being machined in one piece. If you like the looks, I suggest you buy an Uberti, have a smith slick it & add a short stroke. Refinish the stock, and make a stick for the mag tube. It's a neat gun! --Dawg

  11. Hillbilly Drifter is not a scammer. Used to shoot with The Tusco Long Riders. He's a good guy. As Frontier Lone Rider said, he has quit shooting CAS, and sold all his stuff -- I bought a bunch of stuff from him a coupla years ago. Here's a link to him: https://forums.sassnet.com/index.php?/profile/86774-hillbilly-drifter/ --Dawg
  12. Those of us who shoot lots of muzzleloading rifles like these long-barreled guns. Had a few of them, but old age finally got to me, and they got too heavy for me to comfortably hold up. Deadly accurate too -- They weren't called "Express" rifles for nothing! --Dawg
  13. Thanks to everyone at the Lake Park Raiders shoot today. Had a great time! If you have not been, you should put it on your calendar See all you guys and gals soon! --Dawg
  14. I'll take it if you will take a personal check or money order. I don't do electronic payments for guns. Thanks --Dawg
  15. I'll be packin' my "Rye Miles" 38 Special Loading Block. So you know I'll be fast-n-clean!
