  2. These 2 Gripframes are sold! Good Evening: I have a pair of Ruger Old Style aluminum gripframes for sale. By "Old Style", I mean that they have a hole behind the trigger for a trigger return spring/plunger. I believe they were on old style Ruger Blackhawk revolvers. I used them on my Ruger Old armies to make them lighter and easier (for me) to shoot. They are XR3-RED gripframes, and they are cut for the wider triggers. $50 each, shipped. Paypal Friends & Family or Personal Checks. Thanks for looking --Dawg
  3. Good Evening: Sold grips have been removed from this listng. Set #4 -- Light Brown Grips in very nice condition. (See images) No chips or cracks that I can see. Comes with grip screw. $90 shipped. Paypal Friends & Family or personal check. Thanks for looking. --Dawg
  4. "If a shooter misses either P1, P2, P4 or P5 when shooting as identified above (example: P3, P2, P1, P5, MISS - P3, P3, P3, P3, P3)... I would assess a miss as there's no way to judge intent and a miss can't cause a P." *************** The stage instructions say "engage" A miss on a target is an "engagement", so the shooter would have followed the stage instructions. Penalty is 5 seconds for the miss. We don't give instructions for "first" and "second" pistol anymore. We say First 5 rounds, and second 5 rounds now
  5. Sold Pending Funds Good Morning: Thinning the herd a bit. I have for sale a Cimarron Model 1878 Exposed Hammer Shotgun. UNFIRED Condition 26-inch barrels Blued Receiver and Barrels $800 $750+ USPS Priority Mail Fully Insured Shipping to your FFL USPS Money Order please. OR If you live in Ohio, I can do a FTF in Cleveland. PM with questions Thanks for looking --Dawg
  6. Nevada Sweep is back-and-forth on the included targets with no double-taps. Shooter did that, so it is OK -- no "P" FWIW, in Ohio, we frequently do a Nevada Sweep starting on any target. --Dawg
  7. Hey MD: I bought a case of it from a shooter who gave up BP shooting. I use it in all my loads. Granulation seems to be between 2F and 3F. It works well for what we do in this sport. --Dawg
  8. shooter's handbook, page 21 "5-SECOND PENALTIES Misses are 5-Second penalties. Revolver, rifle, and shotgun targets must be engaged with the appropriate type of firearm. A MISS is defined as the failure to hit the appropriate target type using the appropriate type of firearm and includes: - Each missed target. - Each unfired round. ... Double Jeopardy applies- a miss cannot cause a procedural." A miss for the unfired round. No "P" --Dawg
  9. Gonna be a good one! Fill my mailbox!!! See ya there!!!
  10. Yep, done that more than once! Stopped shootin’ 45s, and it stopped happening. 44-40 is a better caliber anyway!
  11. Second car has been ordered. Having two again will open up some options --Dawg
  12. I won't be able to make this one, but, yer right, it's one of the nicer ranges around. Have fun! --Dawg
  13. Good Morning: I'm going thru a 55 gallon drum of hulls -- I have about 2/3 to go. When I went thru the first third, I found about 30 or so, so I expect to find more. If you like, I can set them aside for you, and you can have them for the shipping. Won't be a huge amount, but they're yours if you want them. Will be this week some time. Please let me know. --Dawg
  14. I had a negative experience with a new "codymatic" 1873 I bought as a retirement present for myself about 10 years ago. It never was right -- wouldn't reliably extract. Sent it back twice -- never was right. I gave up & gave it to a local smith. He replaced the bolt that Cody's crew screwed up doing the action work. He also took out Cody's short stroke work, and put in a C&I kit and a new lever. Rifle's been great ever since. Hate to say something bad about a smith. I'm sure he can and does do good work, but not on the rifle I bought from him. --Dawg
  15. Hey Dallas: I'm thinkin' on it. Haven't been to the Pass in 9 or 10 years. I went to maybe the first dozen IBPG annuals, from the first one, inspired by Manatee, to many of the Korruption in Paradise shoots, organized by KK. I think 2016 was my last one. Wrote the stages for alot of them! Anyway, I don't know yet if I'll even be in town at that time. But, if I can fit it in, I'll come. How late can the decision be made? Thanks --Dawg
