  1. Second car has been ordered. Having two again will open up some options --Dawg
  2. I won't be able to make this one, but, yer right, it's one of the nicer ranges around. Have fun! --Dawg
  3. Good Morning: I'm going thru a 55 gallon drum of hulls -- I have about 2/3 to go. When I went thru the first third, I found about 30 or so, so I expect to find more. If you like, I can set them aside for you, and you can have them for the shipping. Won't be a huge amount, but they're yours if you want them. Will be this week some time. Please let me know. --Dawg
  4. I had a negative experience with a new "codymatic" 1873 I bought as a retirement present for myself about 10 years ago. It never was right -- wouldn't reliably extract. Sent it back twice -- never was right. I gave up & gave it to a local smith. He replaced the bolt that Cody's crew screwed up doing the action work. He also took out Cody's short stroke work, and put in a C&I kit and a new lever. Rifle's been great ever since. Hate to say something bad about a smith. I'm sure he can and does do good work, but not on the rifle I bought from him. --Dawg
  5. Hey Dallas: I'm thinkin' on it. Haven't been to the Pass in 9 or 10 years. I went to maybe the first dozen IBPG annuals, from the first one, inspired by Manatee, to many of the Korruption in Paradise shoots, organized by KK. I think 2016 was my last one. Wrote the stages for alot of them! Anyway, I don't know yet if I'll even be in town at that time. But, if I can fit it in, I'll come. How late can the decision be made? Thanks --Dawg
  6. I can verify that Black Dawg BP bullets are lubed with SPG. I have shot hundreds of them that I loaded myself with my own BP. They were also soft cast, which worked out well too. As far as BigLube bullets, in my experience, I can shoot a 6-stage match out of a 24" barrel, and never have to swab the barrel, and get no fouling out. I shot a 44-40 30" '73 for many years with Mav Dutchman bullets from Springfield Slim, and never fouled it out either. I personally hate to have to "clean" my guns several times a match, so I am a BigLube fan. --Dawg
  7. Yep, we saw it too. Pretty clear skies in Cleveland! Pretty Cool!
  8. Hi Dallas: Plain version is fine -- I already have the snake grip! Thanks --Dawg
  9. I have open bags of over-powder and over-shot wads, and open bags of cushion wads. Howabout $15 for all the wads, shipped with the hulls. --Dawg
  10. Good Afternoon: Looking for one of these. If you have one, let me know. Shipping to my FFL 44130 Thanks --Dawg
  11. Macon Due: I have 286 Federals, plus a handful of others by companies like Rio & Fiocchi. Fills a standard grocery shopping bag. I can give you a quote if you PM me your address. Just pay for shipping. Also have 12 Gauge wads if you need them. Fiber, cardboard & older Cork Give you a deal on them. Please lemme know Thanks --Dawg
