In the 1990s, I was privileged to be the family veterinarian for one of the top lady sporting clays competitors in the country.  About half her garage space was taken up with cases of factory ammo.  The practice time she put in was incredible.  I could not reload enough ammo to be a champion in sporting clays.  I hope you achieve your goals.

  2. I know some of you make your own smokeless shotgun shells.

When you run up to Walmart or your sporting goods store to buy smokeless shot shellz which ones do you buy?

    Hi Big Timber,

I remove the primers with a universal die and did not size them. I have 800 that are cleaned and have about 400 that need tumbled.

so sell them your own self, please.

    Hijack Penalty Stage Disqualification.

  4. I knew this wasn’t going to be a get rich quick scheme.  They look like once fired.  The thing is I don’t need them.

I shoot frontiersman.  Black Powder and the Substitutes are coming back.  Egad what people are trying to charge for percussion caps.

    Ugh

  5. It troubles me to see the excessive price hikes for components to play the game.

I have a few Starline .32 Smith and Wesson Longs Hulls probably fired 2 to 3 times.

I stopped shooting .32 revolver 5 years ago.

What should I sell them for?  I been out of this for 5 years.

Don’t try to buy them here.  I’ll do it right or not at all.

  6. Well I’m really doing something different.

i use cigarette papers to make black powder charges.  Gonna put two of them in each hole that does not go all the way through.

Two stages in each leather covered charge holes.

Through an abundance of caution I am avoiding static electricity.

Civil War cartridges were rolled in paper and placed in wooden cases.

This is way fast stage loading for percussion pistols ;~>=

That “screw snap” is available at any boat shop or canvas shop as they are used to secure a sun top to the windshield frame or side of boats

I gotta bunch of black dry wall screws that I can easily cut.

I havn't made any like that but I think a craft store would be better than Home Depot.  Plus the girls are friendlier and better looking      Leather shops like Tandy are getting hard to find.      GW

I remembered a source.  Zack White Leather!

Not my fault you bought a Milk Cow Throw Rug.

I got mine from Amazon.  Search lobster clasp or lobster swivel and leather snaps

I’m talking about the hardware that holds the leather down that ya can snap and unsnap.

kinda fun trying to describe all this.

I will be using the lobster clasp on another project I’m sure.  Canadian Mountie pistol lanyard.
