  1. What equipment do many or most of the cast lead bullet manufacturers use? I thought a lot of it was the Magma machines and molds but don't really know. Some manufacturers are much bigger then others too.
  2. The Russians and Specials are great for black powder loads without using fillers to reduce the load. They work for smokeless to of course.
  3. Illegals come here for the opportunity. Long ago it was for the opportunity to work and support their family. Now it is for the opoirtunity to receive free benefits, medical, drivers licenses, and to file on supposed dependents still back home to get a nice big tax refund. Plus the opportunity to attack U S citizens with a smaller risk of repercussions then if a citizen attacked the illegal commiting a crime against the citizen. New opportunities!
  4. I believe the A and B prefix Rodeos have some Uberti parts. I have an A and I'm pretty sure it's an Uberti frame, not sure about other parts. But they are still good guns put together well but not all U.S. parts. I bought mine after a bullet order mixup. I had been thinking about getting a 45 Rodeo but was using 44s. I had no 45s. Ordered 2000 44cal bullets. I waited a while, contacted the manufacturer and he said they were running behind a liitle. No big deal but when the bullets arrived they were 45s. The inner boxes were torn open with bullets everywhere. I contacted him again and he said he'd ship the correct 44s immediately and to hold on to the 45s meanwhile. Later he called and said to just keep the 45s. I figured it was like a discount on the Rodeo and ordered it.
  5. Myself and at least one other member here were unable to get 44-40 cylinders from them that worked. I sent the cylinder back and forth to them for over a year and they could not size it to function in two different 44 mag Vaqueros. I even took the gamble sending them my original 44 mag cylinder figuring that with it in hand they could duplicate the measurements. They were nice guys but unable to deliver.
  6. Someone a while ago posted a chart showing a bunch of available molds. It might be the Accurate molds listed above in previous posts. There were some molds that looked like they'd hold plenty of bp lube similar to the Big Lube Bullets.
  7. Very difficult situation. But there is no reason for other members of the family to mortgage their own husbands, wives and childrens futures in a hopeless situation. It's tough enough as it is.
  8. The IRS under Obama specifically targeted conservative organizations. Just a mistake they claim. Then they demand a cease fire like their Hamas branch.
  9. I like the movie where he's on a ship and the female is the dance instructor. He takes lessons from her so he can try to get to know her. He fumbles along so the lessons will continue. Finally she's at risk of losing her job. He dances with her in front of the boss to show how great of a job she's doing. Bam, all of a sudden he's dancing in full Fred Astaire mode. I like the way they finish and walk off at the end.
  10. I had to watch that Fred Astaire clip a second time. Someone said of him, "When Fred Astaire walks across a room, that's dancing!"
  11. I load rnfp in my cowboy calibers. But I did load some hotter (not max) 44 mag loads with 240gr swc bullets. They cycled great in my 44 mag Marlin. Crimped right in the crimp groove. The oal is right at the maximum 1.61".
  12. How about sending target/ posters to politicians of U.S. citzens who have been murdered by illegals and criminals who should have still been in prison for previous felonies.
  13. Yes you need to shoot the actual ammo you are going to carry to make sure it functions in your gun. But it is easy to replicate that ammo, bullet weight and velocity, for much cheaper to routinely practice with. Then you'll be able to practice more.
  14. I saw that report also. They do this only against conservatives. They don't dig deep and do this to even years later find liberals who rioted, looted, killed black store owners, etc. One sided weaponization of the courts and law enforcement.
  15. The ICORE or USPSA revolver shooters use Short Colt brass primarily because they can reload the gun easier and faster during a stage with the shorter cases compared to 38 special cases.
  16. It's the same as SASS shooters shooting 38 special in 357 magnum chambered guns. Not a big deal. ICORE shooters shoot 150+ rounds through 1 revolver at a match without issues. 38 SC and 9mm are popular. Some use regular 38 specials
  17. If a shooter, especially at a local match, earns a match dq I have no problem with them packing up and leaving. Some shooters can only go to a match or two occasionally or per month. If they DQ on the first or second stage maybe they can get home and get some chores done to enable them to shoot a match next weekend that they wouldn't have otherwise been able to attend. As long as they aren't throwing a fit about earning the DQ. Someone who is integral to the match being run safely and efficiently, club officers, ROs should probably stay.
  18. I live on 3.3 acres. My deputy neighbor commented that I could shoot on my property. But even if I built some pretty tall berms, one round over the top could land anywhere down the road. Mostly 2 to 10 acre parcels in my area. Plus I just wouldn't subject my neighbors to the noise. The most I would possibly consider is setting up to safely chrono a few rounds. I belong to two private clubs where I can have the use of a private shooting bay and set up what I want to shoot, steel, cardboard. That's where I shoot.
  19. Similar story for me. Sent it back and forth a couple of times but couldn't get it to work.
  20. I got a prescription set last spring and theave been fantastic!
  21. I have loaded the Hitech coated bullets at higher velocity for my 44 mag Marlin and they worked fine. Not max loads. Actually I want to chrono them to see where they're at. 240gr swc cycled fone too. Also 405gr coated in my Marlin 45-70 at 1400 to 1500fps.
  22. I just have one pair, blued 4 5/8 and 5 1/2 in 44 mag. Short stroked by West Fargo. Eagle gunfighter grips.
  23. I just watched the first one a couple of days ago. It's always great seeing those actors together.
