Nice work but not appealing to me. Too overboard for a C&B.

Went to the link & got
Welcome to stockstillbrad1326's profile!
Unfortunately, there's nothing to see here. -
It's a polymer coating like powder coating paint. Eliminates the need & mess of bullet lube for our application.

Bart,
I get about 2 reloads out of STS hulls. 1 or 2 for AA's. The lower the powder charge, the fewer reloads. The hulls get burned on the outside from blow-by with light loads, so it's a trade-off.

I use a Lee Bench Plate. I have wood bases (1X6) made for 2 Lee presses, a MEC 600 and 2 Lubesizers. When I bought mine the bases were made of wood, now they sell steel bases.

Win AALite is no longer sold to the public.

You get to keep your pistol brass I betcha.

Excellent story.

Sure - but if you drop it , even with only one cap installed, you're done for the day. Not sure why one would want to do it.

Split SG pairs. Shucking SG shells before starting to move to next SG targets.
Split pistols. Holstering before moving and not drawing second pistol till you get to second targets.

I had no problem. Closed my browser (Firefox) and started back up, typed in www.sassnet.com and viola! Went right to SASS. Clicked on SASS Wire Forum and went right in.

I remember shooting there one morning when we started at about 8 deg. Yeah, I SURE remember it all right !! Tusco shooters are TOUGH - or is that TOUCHED ! I can't really criticize too much on account of I was there. - Good times !
Edit: I'm pretty sure Rye wasn't there .........

Mary,
I spent 60 years in OH and had some good friends there, hunted, fished, rode motorcycles, raced dirt bikes, ruined a marriage, found SASS & met & shot with Rye Miles & Purdy Boy & Split Rail & Stone Creek Drifter along the way. The only suggestion I can give ya is get a place below Columbus. Something about the Southern half of the state is just more appealing to me. Cincinnati latitude weather is light years ahead of Cleveland & it's lake effect snow & the further ya get South, the warmer the people seem too. The topography is better as you go South too.
Good luck in your quest & say "Hi" to Buick fer me !!

If this is separate from the loading table, it looks great !

I just wore out my second case tumbler this year. My first was a Frankfort Armory and the second an RCBS. Both were used heavily and suffer the loss of the same upper bearing. Anyone have better luck with other brands?
If you buy a Lyman, keep the bowl from the FA. It works better for me than the Lyman bowl.

I don't remember seeing so much different Hodgdon powder available in the last decade.......

I seldom use BP or subs anymore. I don't have spare time to clean guns.
I use treated walnut shell media. About 20% of my media is Daisy BB's.
They haven't lodged in my cases yet and the sides get cleaner.
Merry Christmas,
Mustang
+1 I use about 2# of BBB steel shot.

Merry Christmas to you all, on this blessed day when family and friends are together let us not forget our brave men and women who are protecting our freedom and far from home and loved ones.

If you leave them in vinegar for more than a couple minutes or so the solution starts turning green. That's the copper dissolving out of the brass. Just tumble some more if they bother you. Or load 'em & shoot 'em. No one will know they're a little cruddy inside ! :D

It might be good to mention the rifle targets are not 1/2"AR 500 steel so lower power rifle loads will probably be appreciated.

I'm looking for a levergun smith to see if he could install a 24" bbl and an extended tube magazine since Henry only makes them in 20" from the factory? I'm really interested in picking up one of their rifles but I gotta have that 24" bbl.
Here's a 24" Yellow Boy. Mighty fine looking rifle ........45 colt, .44-40, .38 sp

That's the one - thanks Abilene.

Prairie Dawg has Longshot Logan's article, I'm sure. Or PM me an email address.

I dry media tumble all new brass with a little turtle wax. It seems to provide just enough lube for initial resizing & neck expansion.
