Yup and I knew that but had a brain fart. I’m not a Wild Bunch guy so that’s not really on my radar. It does have a LOT of mag spring pressure so I’m sure some coils could come off. Mine will be regulated to a “2 shooter” only as it’s headed to Lassiter tomorrow.

What a gorgeous rifle. Knowing Carty’s work extremely well I’ll expound a bit on what he did. Correct the action for proper timing which involves a full tuning of the carrier and extractor. Full trigger job and tuning of lever safety. New one piece tool steel firing extension. Carrier lightened. And all action springs tuned and timed. His work is meticulous to say the least and nothing leaves his shop incapable of sub 2 second runs. This is a hot rifle.

Shotgun belt is an older Doc Noper built belt and holds 14-12ga shells in pairs and 5-.38's. Both the gun rig and shotgun belt measure 44" to center hole. Just a suggestion but you should also expand your search to include a Cowboy Carty done Marlin. He took the business over from and was trained by Spur. I can attest there is no finer Marlin smith out there.
