Everybody knows them Jeep drivers is crazy.
I do have to wonder though. How did they take the picture? How did whoever took it, get out of the Jeep without falling off the ledge?
I tend to think it is a fake photo. Since it's probably from before Photoshop was invented, somebody made it in the dark room.
Take the photo of the road, paste in the Jeep and trailer.

Just what the hell did she say?
Absolutely nothing. And she did it very well.
Either that, or "Do you want fries with that?"

Lordy! I remember at SCA events, especially in the Summer and early Autumn, putting up signs both outside and inside the Port-a-privies, and announcements at every Court to put the lid down. Didn't work. Idgits still left 'em up. And they were the ones who complained the loudest about the stench.

We get stuff from the local food bank, and we are each eligible once a month for a "Senior Box." There is always some powdered milk in it. Other than using it in coffee I don't use it much, so we have quite a bit of it. I ran across an Instagram Reel that seems interesting. Text for the syrup is the Instagram translation from the Russian, the "assembly" instructions at the end I cobbled from watching the Reel.
Powdered Milk Nut Candy
300 gr of Sugar
250 ml of Water
a pinch of Citric Acid or 1 teaspoon of Lemon Juice
Boil the syrup after boiling for about 15-18 minutes, just determine the availability of the syrup by sample on a soft ball (take some syrup from the middle of the boiling mass and drop it into cold water. If the syrup has dissolved, it means it is not ready, if it is possible to roll a soft ball with your fingers, it is ready). By the way, my first mistake was that I chewed the syrup. That is why this moment is very important - the ball should be soft, not hard like a lollipop.
80 gr butter
vanillin
200 gr of dry milk
100 gr of any nuts
Put vanilla and butter in heat proof bowl. Pour in syrup, mix well. Stir in Powdered Milk.
Pour onto parchment lined rimmed baking sheet, sprinkle with nuts, chill, cut into diamonds.

Are you serious!!!!Went to lunch today and after leaving the drive-thru today I took my sandwich out of the bag and I see THIS!!
I went back to the restaurant, went INSIDE (already fuming), asked to speak to the manager and put the sandwich on the counter.I asked him for an explanation. He looked confused, so I pointed at the writing on the sandwich and demanded that he tells me why someone felt the need to write it on my sandwich. He answered, "because you ordered a BLT with cheese??” To which I replied “Oh”- 7

Styria 1907 “Type IIIb” 5 ½ HP 764cc side valve v-twin ZL combination frame & engine # 599
In 1891 Johann Puch founded a bicycle factory in the Austrian town of Graz.
His bicycles were sold under the “ Styria” name, the Latin name of the Steiermark area where Graz is situated.
Puch left Styria in 1897 when most of the shares were taken over by Dürkopp from Bielefeld.
In 1899 Puch started a new company to produce bicycles and later on motorcycles and cars. Remarkably though Puch’s name was to remain on the headstock badges of Styria bicycles and motorcycles till 1909.
Styria built motorcycles in the period 1905-1908.This sturdy combination must be one of very few Styria survivors.
It has direct drive to the rear wheel via a flat leather belt and is fitted with a shaft-driven “high and dry” Bosch magneto that is placed in a compartment of the petrol tank.
The machine has been restored a number of years ago.- 2

I'm not saying that it doesn't happen, if it didn't we wouldn't have that word, but I think that the danger is blown way out of proportion.

When I get behind a school bus, I am astonished the people drive their kids out to the bus, even if it's a 100 feet.

On this day September 12 in 1817, 81-year-old John Adams had a great excuse for not writing someone back sooner. He opened his letter with, “The procrastination of old age and the dissipation of the month of August must be my apologies for neglecting your important letter of July, to this day.”
In other words, sorry for the delay—it’s hot and I'm old.
