I used a RCBS hand primer to prime a pards .38 Spl. and .357 brass with small Ginex primers. We loaded some of them with CFE Pistol and others with Titegroup. All charges were above Minimum and below Maximum. The .38 Spl. were used in unaltered Rugers and the .357s were used in an unaltered Rossi 92. Good hits could be seen on all the primers. In cold weather (We're in Canada) he got inconsistent ignition and a lot of squibs and unburned powder in his guns. Other primer makes did not have the problem using the same powders and charges. I'll try the Ginex primers this summer, when temperatures are above 60 F and see how it goes.

Sorry, just noticed this. The Canadian Firearms Centre's telephone number is 1-800-731-4000 and follow the prompts. I suggest you have the all the details, make, model, serial numbers etc. etc. of any and all firearms you intend to bring. Things changed here with the Order In Council and subsequent freeze of the legal transfer of handguns, by registered and licensed owners.

Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 replied to Choctaw Kid Tulsa's topic in SASS Wire
It even made it's way into Canada! I was able to get 1000 cases, for my SAA's and loaded them all with Titegroup for this summer's CAS fun. Saving my .45 Colt for my rifle with their TB and CLAYS charges. -

Every time we went to "The States" my wife and I always hit Gander Mountain, on Arsenal Street in Watertown, NY. We both always came out with something. Or several somethings. Sorry it's now gone. -
