I read somewhere that two or three destroyers were lost in that storm or one around that time.
Yep, looked it up: The Hull; Spence and Monaghan were lost with all hands and a number of other ships wee damaged, including 5 aircraft carriers.

This one reminds me of a "Customer" who used to frequent a friend's Breakfast and Lunch only restaurant.
The customer's overbearing manner and lack of civility caused her to start serving the customer and when she started her usual morning behaviour, she gave her a Trespass Notice Letter and barred her from her restaurant.
Her staff appreciated it.

OH Well!
At least things may eventually arrive, unlike gun parts or shipments from gun related firms or even names coming into Canada from the USA.
Things reach the US/Canada border and come to a grinding halt, while CBSA does it's thing: sometimes for several months, others times in a day or two.
We THINK we know why it is happening, but won't know for certain until sometime after October of 2025.
