Even though I was a young child, I recall when the RCAF switched to the Vampire. One of out notable WWII aces, "Buck" McNair and his wife, Barbara, were my Mother and Father's friends and neighbours. Dad and Buck used to drive to RCAF Rockcliffe together in the morning and return at night, although Dad often had to drive Buck's car on the return trip, due to Buck's eye trouble, if he flew too much during the day.

I've had some limited success with CBD oil, taken internally. Smoking it or vaporizing it is harsh on my non-smoker throat. I never even try to use it on a range day. Then it's just "Tylenol for Arthritis" (CBD and THC is legal in Canada. It's how our current Prime Moron Minister won the younger vote, last election.)

Some of our city's bureaucrats used to do the same thing. I recall one being sought for an issue. I was sitting on the interview selection process, when he asked "What results do you want?" I'm sure it was a one off and would NEVER happen elsewhere.

Perhaps we need to go back to paper ballots only, hand-counted, with the polls open for a full week, only to in-person voters with ID. And a page from the Iraqi elections, a dip of the thumb in indelible ink to ensure you ONLY vote once. So we don't know what the results are 30 minutes after the polls close? So what? Who do we have to rush something that important for? The media? I don't care if it takes a day or three to complete an honest count. I'd rather have an election I was certain reflected the will of the people.

Hard to tell, but they do seem to have a common religion. And I hasten to say, the lady who told me of her feelings was of the same religion, but she, her husband, sons and daughters were here to become a CANADIANS and embraced all that it meant.

We have a somewhat similar situation in Canada. "Immigrants" arrive,immediately have children, whose birth is covered by our heath insurance at N/C, then return to whatever **** hole they came from, until they need help again, then return here. If trouble breaks out in their **** hole, they make a great fuss that they be rescued, because they are Canadian residents or citizens. But many have not lived in Canada for many years. This little bit of information was told to me by a lady from another country, who was outraged by those of her former country, who were doing precisely that.
