  1. I'm guessing here. Maybe remove the new extractor if you decide to send it off to Rossi and when you explain your issue, say you couldn't find the extractor.
  2. And I think that the .45ACP was originally a small primer case once upon a time. (still is in some cases)
  3. If ya' don't want 'em, send 'em to me. I'll save 'em and use 'em if I ever run out of the LPP .45 Colt brass.
  4. Whatever volume you were using for GOEX in a particular cartridge, use the same volume for Schuetzen in the same cartridge. I used elephant until I couldn't get it anymore. I think the factory blew up. I then used Schuetzen but found Diamondback. It was cheaper. Diamondback went away and I tried Grafs which was Schuetzen with a Grafs label. Then Grafs started using GOEX and sticking their label on the bottle. Now they've switched back to Schuetzen, but I've switched to just Schuetzen. GOEX seemed dirtier (MHO), so I'm sticking with the Schuetzen.
  5. Will a .44 Russian work OK in a revolver that shoot a .44 Mag? I was looking at some specs and the base of the Russian is like .001 smaller that the .44 Special or .44 Magnum. Would that .001 difference be of any concern?
  6. Prairie Dawg: THANKS! I got the e-mail for Powder Valley with the promotion code, but deleted it. I wanted to order some BP. Saw your post here and was able to order using the code. Thanks for your post.
  7. I'm an old man and suffer miserably from CRS and can't remember if I have ever asked this question before. Can reenactor BP be used in rifle and pistol cartridges for our game. Regular BP is getting up there in price, and I was thinking it would be much cheaper to use reenactor BP. I think for the shotgun, reenactor would work and be OK, but I was wondering about the pistols and rifle.
  8. Something similar with me. Moose milk or murphy's mix. Tooth brush works good but I use a dental gum brush. It's like a tooth brush but with a smaller head. Works great for getting under the extractor hook. I shoot black powder and have never taken the bolt out or had a problem with the extractor when cleaning it with the brush.
  9. Looks good but that Hornady stuff seems kind of expensive.
  10. EXACTLY!! Maybe I'm missing something, but I've always wondered why no one (at least I don't think so) has ever made a brass adjustable powder measure (like the ones used to measure "grains by volume") for Black Powder that just measured volume (C.C.s) period. End of sentence.
