So, if I nail one foot to the floor and then start running around in 6400 mil circles, does that make me a big wheel?

I gots lots of favorites but if it came to serious social work, I'd want my 657 Smith. That's 41 mag if you don't know. Do everything a 44 mag will do until you start talking 300gr bullets.
I have a load with W296 and a 175gr bullet that tops 1800fps out of a 6.5" barrel.

Gotta have a bag o' peanuts to dump in the bottle...
Don't have access to RC Cola but back when, 50 years ago, you couldn;t drink a coke without peanuts in it.

I've been having trouble for quite a while now. Multiple refresh to get on and sometime that doesn't work. I think I was locked out all day Sunday.
No other website affected. Irritating.
I've tried Safari and Chrome. No joy.
Tried Firefox and it says the site cannot be trusted.

Hey there chili Ron,i'm from illinois ,The Chicago Kidd,i'm thinking ill just wait until i have enough to get a good gun something that can get slicked up.Once i have the funds i''ll start shopping on here first and see if i can get a deal on something all ready to go .i have watched a few matches at the Oak Park Sportsman Club in plainfield il. The Fort Beggs Regulatios and it looked like a lot of fun.I just retired last year at 62 and ready to enjoy it..i have talked to a few guys there and had lunch there but i'm
kind of embarrassed to ask to use someones gun.like i said i only need the rifle.well i think my next step is to get a little more saved and i'll be all set ..thank everyone for your input.and everyone have a safe and great new year.

Call their contact man and tell him you are coming to a match and that you would like to borrow guns. Most clubs will have a set ready for you to play. Nobody looks down on you for borrowing. Most of us did to get started.

I've always had a hankering for a 7x57 double rifle. Side lock of course with lots of engraving and special wood.

Distribute a few 100,000 to Syria, Iran and Iraq with instructions on how to catch 223 bullets.

When no one will step up and take you on, it's called winning through intimidation.
I like that!!

The game was what it was long before I come along .
I fell in love with it the first time I saw it.
We play by the established rules because thats how the game is played.
I think if your local club decides to put on a special (shoot what you brung match)
That is up to that club .
But for SASS to change the rules ?
It would NOT be the same game .
And would Loose shooters NOT Gain shooters .
I will not willingly go to a match that allows the 1911 to be shot in a SASS posse. Start allowing them and I am gone.
Start your own WB club with it's own targets and own range and good luck to you.

Laser Graphic has a good strong laser that can go deeply into wood and do a great job.

Done by Mogollon Drifter.
He does good work
or you could break out the nail set and a tack hammer and get after it.

Last year they stole all of the cables leading to a small city's outdoor Christmas light display

It's been a while but somebody's "Smoke House" just off of I 35 in New Braunfels was awfully good when I was going thru there. Food was as good as I could get in Bamberg.
I went to google and apparently my recommendation no longer exists. Never Mind!
Trying to compare Cajun food to German food is like trying to compare chili to gumbo. Ain't nowhere to start.

I had a gun show dealer explain to me in great detail why my search for a Ruger Red Hawk in 41 Mag was an impossibility because no Ruger of any type had ever been made in a 41 caliber.

I've been using a Thumler Model B Rotary Tumbler with stainless media to wet tumble a couple of batches of brass a week for the last 5 years. It still looks and runs like new. Hasn't required maintenance beyond normal cleaning and lube.
Mine leaks so bad that I don't like to use it. Any suggestions?

Too dangerous IMHO
Most of us use cappers
Split Rail, a national and world champion, uses his fingers to put caps on the nipples
He always has
But the cylinders are in the guns
My short stubby Italian fingers won't let me do that
I wouldn't share the loading table with a shooter who took the cylinders out to cap them
Too many chances that something would go wrong
Just my two cents
--Dawg
If you haven't noticed Split Rail is not of this world. He operates in some sort of a time warp.

Driveway sealing and roofing seem to attract the dregs of the homeowner scams.
Walk carefully and my advice would be to talk to material suppliers and neighbors for recommendations about roofing companies.

38s go in the blue box, 44-40 goes in the red box. All cases are always full of black.

Doctor says: I've got good news and bad news, which would you like to hear first.?
Patient says: Give me the good news.
Doctor says: We have a heart that we can use for your transplant.
Patient says: What could possibly be the bad news?
Doctor says: Charles Manson is the donor.

Just think, we could shoot bullets that grow poppies in Afganistan.
