  1. Howdy,

I am starting to accumulate a hefty collection of holster rigs. How do you cowboys and cowgirls hang or store your rigs when not using them? I'm looking for ideas on how to hang 6 rigs on the wall. If anyone does this, pictures would be much appreciated.

Here's a picture of my gun room. I'm looking to hang them just to the left of the cabinets on the wall. Sorry it's not a closer picture.

    Thanks

Only in my dreams does my loading bench look like that. I'm lucky if I can find the press.

  2. I know Obummer is out and Trump is in but the important news is that Noz has a new great grandson.

James Henry Webb (is Dad will call him Doc as that's where the Henry comes from) born 12:30 pm January 19.

  3. Don't look at it then. Just like any cowboy would do I adjust my gear so it's at it's maximum effectiveness for the task at hand. For me bandoleers are the most ridiculous in my eye but I'd never tell someone that on the range.

I found a bandolier for about $12 to try. I see them working for some folks.

    Mr. Marine:

I like to treat mine like a passport. You never know when a Territorial Governor or US Marshall will stop you and your cart and ask for your ID.

Lord help you if you get your crotch checked by the the zipper police and you don't have your SASS card.

    T Bone Dooley

    Grizzly Dave

    Chickasaw Bill

    and the list goes on.

I forgot. As a teenager I spent an afternoon at the Missouri State Fair with Sally Rand. She was performing there and took a couple of hours away from the stage to sit and talk with a couple of star struck boys.

  6. Come on guys!! You're acting like someone is messing up a valued antique or something.

It's a Ruger. It never was nor never will be "historically correct".

    It's a 36 caliber percussion revolver.

I wish I had the coin to do a version of that (some changes) on my ROAs, which have the Belt Mountain quick change base pins in them and Woolf springs.

  7. We have a rather large Amish community near us. A young Amish man was returning home about 10:30 pm after being on a courting venture. His homeward route took him down the main street of Verona, MO (pop 600, so the signs say). When he turned from a county road onto Main Street he failed to stop at a stop sign. He was stopped by the young local cop. He told the policeman that it was not his fault. He told the horse to stop but the horse knew the way home and did not want to stop as he was headed for the barn.

The police gave him a ticket for rolling thru a stop sign.

    Then the war started.

Not the Amish but the English (anyone not Amish) community got up in arms. Offers to pay for a lawyer to defend him and offers to pay the fine and offers of damage to the young cop. The municipal judge had a hiccup attack, dismissed the charges and told the young man to pick a different route home next time.

Lots of local respect for the Amish. Good people!

  8. If there is one person in professional sports I cannot stand (yeah...as if there is only one!), it would be Tom Brady. What a complete unethical, egotistical, CHEATING bastard.

Heaventh to bethsy. I got a public reprimand for using that word. Course I applied it to equipment rather than people . I guess that makes a difference.
