Many choko vines, including my Grandmothers, were grown over the outdoor dunny

My maternal Grandmother used to use one half an apple to make her "apple" pies; yep, half an apple and 15 of them bloody choko's .......... (she weren't a good cook) Bless Her I'm pretty sure that they was named choko 'cause they'll "choko" a horse ....

YUKKK !!!!! ........ them's worse that brussells sprouts ......

Them's not coffee pots. Them's 'lectric jugs ; a ceramic vessel used to boil water, mostly for your teapot , but also for "washing-up water. ........ if an Australian wanted coffee, you used the 'lectric jug to boil the water and added instant coffee to your cup. ( you know, the way God intended )
